Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"Sarah travelled to Settle to sing at my Mum's funeral last week, and her vocals were amazing and added so much. She helped me with the song choices, singing Somewhere Over The Rainbow during the service and Nella Fantasia unaccompanied at the graveside as well as leading on hymns and songs during the service. From the first time we spoke her warmth and compassion was clear and really helpful to me. As for her vocals, her voice is simply stunning and it added so much to the occasion, everyone there was deeply moved by them. I know my mum would have loved it and it helped to make her send off so beautiful. Thanks so much Sarah for being part of of it. "

"Gareth Giles is an amazing musician. Thank you for coming to our church and leading the hymnody with such musicality and regard for the liturgy within. Your idea to end the service by switching to the Piano and playing Debussy's 'Clair de Lune' was truly inspired. As the evening sun set and the evocative music filled our church there was not ONE whisper - every member sat riveted in their seats to this extraordinary musical treat. This was such a fitting end to the worship and I think a 'first' that all our members sat and listtened and applauded. Gareth is also an extremely nice person to work with - self-effacing, reserved, a wicked sense of humour but UTTERLY professional in every way. Anyone reading this should book him asap ! WONDERFUL. "We had Paula to sing at my Mum’s 80th birthday party, this was a surprise present from all the family. Paula sang my Mum’s favourite songs from the 1940’s, which I was able to choose and she sang them in 3 sets throughout the evening. Paula looked very professional with hair, make up, clothes from the era and even a vintage 1940’s microphone to complete the look. Paula kept me informed of everything prior to the evening so it all went smoothly on the night. Paula chatted to my Mum and other guests throughout the evening, which was lovely. My Mum absolutely loved it and I can honestly say it really made her birthday celebrations special. So in a nut shell - great voice - great personality- great time had by all, cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you Paula "

"Amazing! We asked Mark to play at our wedding between the wedding breakfast and evening reception as it is a lull moment for alot of guests. Our guests did not feel bored, the performance Mark gave was amazing and got alot up dancing in the bar area. Everyone was commenting on how much they loved it. I would 100% recommend Mark to anyone who wants to entertain there guests and have a great time, seeing everyone enjoying themselves was priceless down to Mark. Thankyou Mark"

"Joe played at our wedding on the 25th May 2019 and was absolutely brilliant. Everyone commented on how good he was and he was able to play along to all different songs. First set we had Ibiza playlist which was fantastic all Different ages were up dancing. Second set he was able to play along to some more 80s style music. We couldn’t have asked for anymore. Thankyou so much joe. Get him booked!!"

"SJ Acoustic, during the booking process was fantastic, her communication was great. I had booked her for a private birthday party and she was extremely accommodating throughout. She adapted her set list to suit the atmosphere of the party and her music prowess and voice was amazing. Simply put, she was brilliant, book her you wont be disappointed."
