Review Centre: Solo Musicians

"Violet is a great musician. She plays music truly from hearts. She is a good pianist with deep understanding on different genres, ranging from the Baroque period to the 20th century repertoire. Her Piano Recital on January 2023 was a great success. She played Domenico Scarlatti’s Sonata, Frédéric Chopin Polonaise and Claude Debussy’s Prelude with her own interpretation and thought. She is also a good trumpet player. She loves making music with others. She had joined different wind bands and orchestras. Besides, she had covered two famous pop songs ‘Fly Me to the Moon’ and ‘Wave’ in style. She sang and played trumpet in the cover which was very impressive. She is also a good piano and trumpet teacher. Her students range from 3 years old to 70 years old. She has patience and able to teach in line with the student’s ability. Her students mostly get a good result on different competitions and the ABRSM music examinations."

"Bianca was asked to play background and accompanying music at our recent wedding at Beckford Tower in Bath. She gave a lot of thought to music that would be suitable for the occasion and furthermore, researched and learnt pieces that we requested. She also went out of her way to rehearse with the soloist resulting in a beautiful rendition of a modern song. All guests were enchanted with her harp playing and she helped make the occasion very special. We would unreservedly recommend Bianca."

"I wanted someone to provide popular music, without vocals, and having listened to Joe’s sample recordings, I engaged his services. I have to say, I was not disappointed - Joe played a wide variety of tunes for 4 hours, and there were many favourable comments from guests. HIGHLY recommended - he would be my first choice for any future event."

"I feel very fortunate to have found Lester on lastminutemusicians.com. He offered exactly what I was looking for; beautifully played classical piano to greet and entertain my guests before supper and excellent renditions of the music of Freddie Mercury (complete with costume change) to entertain us after supper! Just brilliant! Lester is a lovely person and is very easy going. We communicated many, many times, via email, prior to the event, as he wanted to provide exactly what was requested. We were all delighted with the excellent standard of his playing and I highly recommend this most personable and talented young man. "

"What can I say?! Catherine was absolutely fantastic and performed so beautifully at our wedding reception. She went out of her way to learn a new song that had special meaning for us and also sang her own song, "Soulmate" for us - which we love! She had our guests dancing and was amazing with some of my relations children; including them in "I wanna be like you!" with ad lib percussion! Thanks Catherine, you really made our party sing! "

"Couldn't have asked for a better violin player than Andrew Hubbard! After listening to some sample music on this website I decided to book Andrew for New Years Eve at my restaurant called the Shaad in Congleton. Wasn't too sure about having a violin player for New Years Eve, but Andrew did many extraordinary things that I would not have expected a violinist to do. He made the evening a remarkable evening which customers continue to talk about even today. Playing the violin and getting my Indian dancers on stage was a brilliant idea; best one was the sing alongs which engaged not only my customer but me and my workers too. A person who is well organised, easy to communicate with, but also a jolly and a fun person. Will be booking you in for Valentines Day! "Upgrad3 played at our wedding and I cannot recommend them enough. We had so much fun, and all the guests absolutely loved them - they really made the evening. The mother of the groom said “They played everything ever known to be danced to, and were excellent!”. We even had Santa on the drums, and I didn’t leave the dance floor!
