"Thank you for providing the backround music for the Pride of Houghton Awards, which took place last night. The evening was a huge success and the Town Mayor, Councillor Laura Ellaway has asked me to pass on her sincere thanks to you. The Mayor particularly requested the songs from the shows and these were very much enjoyed by all. There were many excellent comments about the musical entertainment and the guests that attended the event included the High Sheriff of Bedfordshire and the Mayor's from Luton, Dunstable, Sandy and Flitwick as well as members of the local community. I would like to thank you again for all your support and we hope to work with you again at future events. "

"When Len Crawley is not wearing his other cap as one-quarter of the Barron Knights he provides a terrific night of entertainment with his one-man show. Len certainly knows his stuff. He started playing music when he was still at school beginning as a drummer and progressing to keyboards and has some fabulous stories to tell about his early days in the music business, working with Tom Jones, Elton John and a little-known band in the early sixties called the Beatles! At the Royal British Legion club they love Len for his well-chosen mix of glorious instrumentals, great melodies from the American Songbook and lively dance numbers. Handling everything with consummate ease Len has a relaxed, laid-back style that appeals to regulars at this Potters Bar venue who invite him back time after time. Len eased into his show with a beautiful rendition of the haunting instrumental Cavatina and a jazzy working of George Shearing's Lullaby Of Birdland. Songs made famous by Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, Nat 'King' Cole and Tony Bennett followed and they attracted the dancers indicating that Len knows his audiences well and has a clear idea what type of material will fill the dancefloor. I liked the way he slotted in instrumentals like Booker T's "Green Onions", the theme from "Midnight Cowboy", and Percy Faith's "Theme From A Summer Place" to break up nicely the vocal numbers and it appeared there was no end to Len's talents as he demonstrated his highly skilled harmonica playing in songs like "Isn't She Lovely". Unlike some performers, Len was happy to cater for all requests and he made one Sally present a very happy lady with a surprisingly rocking version of Eric Clapton's "Lay Down Sally" and two of Buddy Holly's hits, "Raining In My Heart" and "True Love Ways" were particularly well received, as was the reggae number, "Kingston Town" (complete with steel drum effects) and the uptempo Van Morrison hit "Bright Side Of The Road". Other high spots for me were a lovely mix of Booker T's "Soul Limbo" plus "Yellow Bird" and the subtle interpretation of the Adele/Bob Dylan hit "Make You Feel My Love", in which he showed the quality of his soothing voice. Just one suggestion Len - it would be nice to hear some of those anecdotes during the show. Len Crawley is the ideal one-man band and club organisers and people booking private parties would do well to snap him up. "

"Matt played at our wedding breakfast in December and it was an absolute joy to listen to him, it made the wedding breakfast that extra bit special. Matt was a joy to work with, from the 1st initial conversation, right up to the performance on the day. We had a few song requests, and Matt made sure these were played along with many other songs he played so beautifully as well as taking requests from a few family members during the wedding breakfast. Would definitely recommend Matt, a true gentleman. Lee & Adam"

"SUCH A HUGE TALENT ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can’t not recommend or thank Nigel enough our dealing’s with him from start to finish we’re effortlessly. He is such a professional and talented pianist. Having him play at our wedding was amazing. He was so sympathetic and accommodating after us having to change our original date and then our venue at short notice. All our guest commented on how amazing he was. You will most definitely not be disappointed having Nigel play at your wedding he really did help to make our long awaited day very special. "George performed at our wedding in Newcastle and was an all round great guy. He was very helpful during the planning and organising of our wedding music and ensured we had no worries or concerns with any aspect of music during our wedding. "Jamie played at our wedding when guests were arriving, during the ceremony and for the drinks reception. I knew of Jamie because he would busk in the town where I went to uni. We would stumble home after nights out and dance in the street to Jamie playing. He would gather crowds of people singing, laughing and dancing. 4 years later I contacted him and asked him to play at the wedding. It was the best decision we made. The ceremony was very emotional and the live piano made it so special and memorable. All our guests loved the music and spoke to us about how great Jamie was after the wedding too! We would recommend him to everybody!! "

"Amy played at our wedding and she was absolutely perfect, playing the bride's favourite song down the aisle bringing many to tears. Playing amazing music during the breaks in the ceremony and then playing more beautiful piano to keep everyone entertained while we went for photos. If anyone was to have Amy play at their wedding they would be lucky."
