"We just wanted to say an enormous Thank you for playing at our wedding at West Tower. Having not heard you play in person beforehand it was a big risk but one that definitely payed off. We absolutely loved everything you played and have had so many compliments off guests who agreed that it was the best drinks reception imaginable. "I met Mark at a couples wedding I was photographing at Homewood Hall, he was hired to be the entertainer after the ceremony. However the clients wanted him to be a surprise and act as guest by blending in to watch the ceremony and play as they walk out the aisle. We touched base before the day and also the morning of the wedding. He arrived extra early to ensure he wasn’t late and practised his songs. He was really easy to talk to and very friendly character. You definitely would want him at your wedding if you are looking for a saxophonist, I could tell straight away he was talented and professional just by looking at his saxophone. I have worked with many suppliers over the years of being a photographer and I can tell you I have experienced ones who don’t even say hello to other suppliers or care about the guests. Mark is the complete opposite! Don’t hesitate to book him, you won’t be disappointed! :)"

" I have been looking at this for 30 years and one only comes across a talent like Chris Tavener once in a blue moon. His extraordinary songwriting and hilarious delivery combine to make him a joy to watch. Mark my words Chris will be big one day and it is an honour that I will be able to say that I was there at the outset of his career, such is the confidence in my prediction. Certainly one for the more cerebral and sophisticated audience and comedy venues as well. "
