Review Centre: Singing Guitarists

"29th January 2020 . Bob Ferguson Songwriter. Gurli Møller Neilsen.House Concert Host, Denmark A very special experience for us, was when a Sunday in June, for the first time we held a house concert. The Artist, yes, it was Bob Ferguson and what a wonderful day it became. We had borrowed a tent. and scraped the neighbours. and own garden chairs together, and had invites family, friends, neighbours, and others, at a concert in the garden. Not everyone knew about Bob already, but we have received incredibly many happy, and positive feedbacks. Everyone was excited about the music and the amazing atmosphere that Bob created. It was a huge experience, and it didn't require much. Bob is highly recommended if someone has a party in mind, and I certainly don't think it's the last time we do it. and the guests are ready, I have no doubt about that. "

"Cannot praise Davey enough, after some last minute changes he pulled it out the bag and every guest loved it. His voice is amazing and he performs such a varied repertoire, there was something for everyone. He will be performing at 2 of my friends weddings next year and we can't wait to watch him again. From chilled background music while everyone was sat out having drinks to getting everybody up dancing, it was perfect!"

"Alfie came and played for us at Tewkesbury Day Centre and was an absolute breath of fresh air. Everyone sang along and some enjoyed a dance – staff and Service Users had a wonderful afternoon and we will definitely be inviting Alfie to come and entertain us again. Highly recommended."

"Dear Sarah Jane, I just wanted to let you know what a brilliant job Mark did for us on Saturday. Everyone enjoyed the music - it was perfectly gauged to the party and Mark was very easy to work with. All our guests commented on what an amazing talent he is. It couldn't have been any better - even the freezing cold evening didn't stop us as Mark moved into the games room and the dancing really began in earnest. "We are really happy that Stevie played at our laid back wedding reception on the Isle of Arran. He has an extensive playlist that we could chose from and offered to learn any special tunes that we wanted (Ideal for those embarrassing secret songs we wanted). Stevie played a number of sets through the evening; ranging from background music whilst people were eating, some singalong favourites and more upbeat tracks for a dancing and cocktail mixing later in the evening. Nothing was too much trouble for Stevie and he was happy to adapt his sets as the night progressed & to his audience. Passers by asked who was playing and if he would be playing again next week so they could come along; he really is that good ! Stevie was incredibly friendly and even joined in & drew his self portrait for us to add to our collection for our guest book! We would definitely recommend him to everyone."

"Josh played an acoustic set at our wedding drinks reception recently and he was absolutely great. We loved the set and the laid back mood he created, it was exactly what we’d hoped for. Everyone really enjoyed the music and so many of our guests commented on how great he was. Josh was the perfect addition to our day and we would highly recommend him."
