Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

A performance space of 2x2 metres. I do not require power as my equipment is battery powered. Parking usually required.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

I provide all my own sound equipment!

What information do you require about a venue?

Detailed directions to help me find my way and prevent delays. Information about parking always welcome!

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

I can, but only via prior arrangement.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

I once performed in the Garden at No.10 Downing Street!

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

The great Soul singers of the 60's/70's! Although my favourite tune of all time is Diamonds On the Soles Of Her Shoes by Paul Simon.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I've been gigging since I moved to London as a fresh-faced 18 year old. Since then I've played all over the country, Europe & beyond. I've done hundreds of gigs from Weddings, Parties, Bars, Pubs, Clubs, Marriage Proposals, Funerals, Wakes - if it's there to be played, I've done it!

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

When the sun's shining, nothing beats a garden party. Anytime you can get people together outside with some food, drink & live music - it doesn't get much better than that.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

Set up takes no longer than 20 minutes. Generally I play 1 hour or 2 x 45 minute sets, but I can be flexible right up to the last!

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes, as long as there is shelter from any elements and an even surface to set-up on.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I am always happy to be guided on Set List. Generally, I ask for a few favourites from my repertoire and can tailor a set-list to suit, but I am more than happy to let the client take as many requests as they like from my song list (available via my profile).

Requests - I am always happy to learn special requests when time allows, but this must be arranged before-hand and special conditions may apply (though I don't usually charge!).

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Laid-back and soulful. People always pick up on my good energy and seem to love to hear me sing!
