I'm Steve Christie better known as Stevie Bagpipes, originally from Edinburgh but now living in the North East of England. I started playing the Bagpipes aged twelve and in my younger years I was an award winning Solo Piper and Band Member competing at the highest level in the world of Bagpiping.

I have played for and had affiliation with numerous bands over the years, The West Yorkshire Fire Service Pipe Band, The West Yorkshire Police Pipe Band and The Guards Depot Piping School to name a few.

I also have the privileged of being affiliated with Bamburgh Castle and have played there for Public and Private events. I was honoured to be the Lone Piper at the Castle for the weekend celebrations of Her Majesty the Late Queen Elizibeth the Seconds Platinum Jubilee. I am also the Professional Wedding Piper who is featured and recommended by The Wedding Guide Uk.
