Having influences from across soul, funk, jazz, blues and pop music in the last 70 years there's a wealth of excellent musical vocabulary to draw on and present in a number of ways to really elevate your event. That is very much one of the srengths of this very talented and engaging solo acoustic act.
Joel of Acoustic Solo Sounds has been playing guitar for over 30 years and had the privilege of performing in a number of European coun tries and even the US.
With so many years experience playing and performing, this act is classy and cool with style and finess that is supportive of your event and without drawing focus from your celebration or interrupting conversation. This solo style performance merely adds to the atmosphere most suited in the moment supported by playing to Joel's strengths in reading the room and providing material performed with the intensity, or sensitivity, to match.
When making a booking, please share as much detail about your event and what you're looking ofr in the way of live entertainment. It can maximise the opportunity to tailor a bespoke performance that really adds to the ambience of your big day or event.

A safe, dry space 3mx3m with mains power (13amp) if I am providing PA. If PA is provided I only need one channel for a vocal mic and one for a guitar DI.
I can provide sound and lighting equipment. Generally, for my solo acoustic set I bring a small PA and a monitor and up to four LED par-can lights set tonchange colour slowly to add atmosphere.
knowledge of a sound limiter, if there's any particularly challenging about the "get in" like multiple flights of stairs, access from a road that differs to the main entrance.
I can play recorded music between sets, for sure.
I opened a few shows for 10cc while on tour in the UK and I think both best gig was Guildford G-live and venue was Bath Forum.
Stevie Wonder, Prince, B.B. King, The Bros. Landreth and many more
I started gigging having performed at school concerts and gradually found my way through gigging in pubs and onto parties and weddings. I have been performing as a musician for well over 20 years.
For a solo acoustic gig I love playing a listening room, or theatre. Having space to present your music to a willing audience without having to play over people talking so I can indulge in some musical nuances that can be lost in a busy room. But I enjoy many other settings and gig types, still.
I can, and when I am playing "for myself" I do quite often dress quite femme. For a wedding or similar formal event I tend to dress in dark colours with a smart shirt, jacket, and smart flat shoes. However, clients have sometimes encouraged me to dress up for their events or shared a little disappointment that I may have not been wearing heels at their party or event.
it takes me about an hour to set up my solo acoustic act without rushing. It can be done in as little as 30 minutes but that isn't at all ideal or comfortable.
I am happy to perform outide but during sunny spells need some shade. Performing outdoors during inclement weather isn't really safe.
There can be some negotiation as to what I perform as I have a very wide repertoire, but I tend not to commit to learning more than one or two new songs for a client as it can be very time consuming.
While being very flexible with my performance depending on the booking, I tend to start with very easy listening songs and, depending on what is needed, can be performing full on rock classics or have the crowd dancing and singing Stevie Wonder or Tina Turner by the end of the event.
I've had a lot of wonderful feedback over the years:
"Thanks so much, we really enjoyed your performance. It set the occasion off perfectly." Nicole, Oct - 2019
"... I just wanted to thank you for your performance at my daughters' Wedding last Friday, you were superb, exactly how I imagined in my head. You need to know that a member of the Hotel staff came up to me and said how fantastic she thought you were" - Dianne. April, 2017.
