Alice Barlow A UK wedding & experienced events singer with beautiful vocals

I started my career singing in local pubs and bars, winning various singing competitions along the way. This led to winning a nationwide competition called The Stobart Factor, judged by X Factor’s Louis Walsh. That moment opened the door to performing at weddings, corporate events and private celebrations across the UK, alongside the start of my acting career.

I began my television work on Hollyoaks, where I played the regular character Rae Wilson from 2009 to 2011. After leaving the show, I went on to appear in a mix of drama and comedy, including the E4 series Drifters, as well as Casualty, Banana, Shakespeare & Hathaway, Coronation Street and The Power of Parker.

Music has always run alongside my acting work. I appeared on The Voice UK, where Tom Jones and Danny O’Donoghue both turned around during my audition, taking me through to the blind stages of the competition.

During my television career, I also played the recurring role of karaoke singer Annie Redmond in series seven of Benidorm. Shortly after, I toured the UK for six months as the lead in the Dusty Springfield musical Son of a Preacher Man.

I'm also a well-established performer for the British troops and have been flown out to entertain forces in Afghanistan, Poland, Cyprus and the Falkland Islands.
