Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

I need at least a 3mx2m space to setup some speakers and a 1 man show. I need at least 1 power socket and ideally somewhere to park my van.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes I have full sound rig and lights to light up the stage.

What information do you require about a venue?

I just require a full address and postcode, what times, and where, I can load in.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes I provide an unmanned Spotify playlist service free of charge. If you require me to stay on stage taking requests for the evening that costs extra. Spotify playlists can be sent in advance or you can use one of mine. Just let me know the vibes you're looking for.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

I loved performing at Ronnies in Meribel on the French Alps. It was great to play on the outdoor stage to the Apres Ski crowds, who love'd going wild, whilst overlooking the snowy slopes.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

I'm a big fan of Nile Rodgers and all the great party hits he wrote and produced. I can't help but boogie when I hear them and the soulfulness of some of the singing and arrangements is top tier.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I've been playing the guitar since I was 13 and joined my first band when I was in high school at 14. After studying music technology at university I then started cutting my teeth on the open mic circuits, eventually joining a more established band who showed me the ropes of the corporate world. I know look after around 10 bands and perform all over the world.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

I love performing in any scenario but I do love a good party where the guests are up for a sing a long and a dance. Weddings and Birthdays are great examples of people coming together and letting their hair down to some great music.

Can the act come with more members?

Yes I perform acoustically as a solo, duo, trio or electrically in 3 piece or more. Please ask, or search this site for more line-ups

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I tend to like 60-90 minutes to arrive, get my bearings and setup before i start performing. I then split the show into 2x60 minute sets or 3x40 minute sets throughout the evening.

Are you happy to perform outside?

As long as my equipment is safe from any weather damage then I'm fine with playing outside. A fully acoustic show with no electronic equipment can be good for this as we can quickly run inside if issues occur.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I happily learn 1 song, within reason, for the event. The client is more than welcome to request a few more that aren't on the repertoire which I'll discuss doing at my discretion.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

A high energy show with a great mix of different styles and songs.
