I have no hesitation in recommending Avelia for a special occasion. She tailor made the set list, accommodated all my special request and advised me on the type of songs that would work best earlier/later as the night wore on.

Avelia was a pleasure from start to finish. Her excellent playing and singing set just the right tone for our event and nothing was too much trouble as she tailor-made the songs for our wishes. Great, we recommend her.

My guests and I were bowled over by Avelia’s talents, enthusiasm and warm personality when she is performing. Her song list appealed to guests of all ages and she was the highlight of a special occasion. Prior to the event she was very easy and professional to communicate with. I can’t recommend her highly enough and would definitely look no further when I hopefully have a similar occasion.

Wishing to have some joyoues music after marrying in Registry Office we heard parts of the Fireworks Music by Händel and some lovely jazzy pieces - very festive and impressive.

We had Avelia attend our home for my grandads birthday party. As a family we was a bit worried about inviting a singer into our home, however Avelia did not disappoint, she was very polite and made all the guests feel welcome, very smiley and welcoming, she really puts her audience at ease. I would highly recommend this very talented lady, especially for the older generation.

Avelia came to my house and sang swing music with trumpet playing and she was brilliant. We had a 1920's theme with my friends and we all really enjoyed it.
Well worth the money and Avelia accommodated to fit in with the times that suited.

Avelia was perfect for my 50th birthday. Very easy to organise and responsive to emails at last minute.
Perfect performance on the day which added great atmosphere to garden party with many compliments from friends and family.

We were undecided as to whether we wanted a trumpeter but when we spoke with Avelia we knew she was the one for us! Avelia has been incredibly professional and responsive - helping us decide our music by sharing ideas on a spotify playlist and creating a backing track for All You Need is Love by The Beatles for the music when signing the register. As if that wasn't enough I threw Avelia a curve ball song 2 weeks before the big day and Avelia learnt that as well! Wow we loved the sound in the church as did so many of our guests! Through the whole process and lead up Avelia has been transparent, honest and always just an email away. Wow, 10/10 would definitely recommend! Thank you Avelia!

Avelia has played for us several times now. Every event she has played at has brought incredible joy to everyone attending and we've always received compliments from the guests attending the events. She arrives well within the time frame to set up, she is professional, courteous and flexible! We look forward to welcoming her to many more events over the years!

All our guests love you … soulful voice, jazz tone, plus trumpet. It's different - adds to ambience. Old tunes done in a different way.

Very professional singer that catered perfectly to our needs for the event. The trumpet was an added bonus and was very good. Would recommend this musician as everyone enjoyed it.

Avelia and Gareth were just great for our 70th birthday party. Their music was pitched so well moving between introductory themes to some dinner accompaniment and lastly to dance music to end.
We were particularly impressed by their musicianship only coming to play at this gig with no prior experience of ever playing together it was truly remarkable and we are so grateful to them both for making our lovely evening pitch perfect!

I booked Avelia to perform at a charity football match during half time. I contacted Avelia with very short notice (only four days!) and she was able to accommodate. She was very friendly, polite and professional. Her music fitted the event perfectly and Avelia had a great way of talking to the crowd and entertaining everyone alongside her music. Will definitely be booking Avelia again.
