About / Biography

Welcome to the musical world of David and Elliot, a tenor saxophone and piano jazz duo whose passion for jazz brings a unique and vibrant sound to every performance with a repertoire that spans bebop to Beyoncé.

Recent performances include the Upton Jazz Festival and a five day residency playing in the foyer of Malvern Theatres. We have played in pubs, restaurants and for social gatherings.

Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

A performance space of 2 x 3 m is required as well as one power socket.


Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

We provide a full PA system, we are currently unable to provide any lighting.


What information do you require about a venue?

Please let us know if parking available at the venue and where we can unload equipment from.


Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

We are able to play music from Spotify in between sets.

Sta n Getz and Oscar Peterson, swinging melodic jazz at its best. All the Things You Are, or any number of songs from the American songbook.


What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

As a duo we have played for 18 months, individually in other contexts for many years


What's your favourite type of event to play at?

Private functions, parties receptions etc

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

Set up 20mins.
Performance 2 sets of 45 mins, we are happy to play more or less.


Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes, we can play without a power supply if necessary as we have battery power for the keyboard. Weather permitting of course.


Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

We obviously have a set repertoire but are able to take a small number of requests from the standard jazz repertoire
