Brass Junkies are an all-star, dynamic and versatile brass band based in Bristol.
With a flexible lineup and diverse repertoire, they perform New Orleans style pop and funk classics in the tradition of the finest American street bands such as The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, The Soul Rebels and The Rebirth Brass Band
Band members have played with some of the best in the business including Kasabian, Tom Jones and Muse in venues such as The Royal Albert Hall, Glastonbury main stage, and 'Later' with Jools Holland.
Brass Junkies cover everything from New Orleans classics to Taylor Swift, Stevie Wonder and Prince. Whatever and wherever they're playing, you can be certain that this high-energy good-time music will bring some carnival atmosphere to the place!
The lineup of the band can be tailored to the requirements of your event, ranging from the more compact 5-piece to the full heavyweight sound of the 8-piece. The band can be mobile and acoustic including playing outside on the move amongst the guests. We are equally at home performing on or off the dance floor with or without a PA and are adept at tailoring the performance to any wedding, corporate event or party. Musical performances can be subtle and background to full-on party where your guests will be dancing all night.

We usually play 2 x 45 minute sets but can be flexible to suit your event.
We can do either depending on what best suits your event. We can provide a full band PA if necessary. Please ask for further details.
We can play as loudly or as quietly as you like. We are used to working at various sized venues and can adjust the volume as required.
Depending on the size of the band, for acoustic performances 10 - 20 minutes and if we are providing the PA or using the house PA system 20 - 40 minutes.
Yes we can play pretty much anywhere!
Yes we can – the drummer straps on a snare drum and we are ready to go!
No. If you have requested the band PA as part of your booking it is possible to connect your device (iPad, iPhone etc) via a mini jack lead for your music to be played during our break between sets only.
We normally arrive 1 hour before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 45 minutes. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best."
We’re happy to perform outside including playing on the move, which we often do at weddings, which is a lot of fun.!
