Reviews of Carabana Steel Band

This was a surprise for our guests and a massive with absolutely everybody. They were very punctual, adaptable and friendly. The music they played on the steel drums was outstanding and made everyone thoroughly enjoy this part of our wedding. The communication before the wedding day was prompt, clear and very organised. I just want to take the time to Thank You as Ian has just left and he was just wonderful! We have quite a few pupils with complex needs yet they were able to sequence the notes and copy Ian on the drum! They were all engaged and absolutely loved the music, dancing and waving ribbons. It was also so interesting listening to his question and answer time, he is so knowledgeble and linked so well to our Topic on the Windrush.

Carabana Steel were fantastic! From the initial contact to the event Ian and Annika were professional and a delight to deal with. They arrived early and and helped make the party with their great music. I would love to use them again and can't recommend them highly enough.

Please pass my thanks to Eugene and Ian. They gave wonderful performances on both days and created such a lovely atmosphere at my parties.

Sending you and The Carabana Steel Band members a very big thank for playing at the company’s Caribbean Event.
You all added the special Caribbean touch to the evening, which was loved by all who attended the evening. The tunes and different melodies of rhythms was totally outstanding, the feedback has been extremely breath taking [Amazing, Fantastic, so Diverse with the tunes, an amazing trio]

So sorry it has taken me so long to say how wonderful Eugene and his Steel Band were. He is the most delightful person and they played most beautifully.
The evening got off to a really splendid start thanks to them and the weather was perfect, (unlike now).

Had two steel drum players, they were brilliant, created an amazing atmosphere at the high rocks in Tunbridge wells for my sisters wedding. The sun was shining it was fabulous and everyone commented on them. Eugene was waiting for us with the drums set up when we arrived at The Spa. We could not praise them enough, they played just the right music at the correct time and as we had to be inside played quietly so that we could all chat whilst having drinks.

We had many people come up to us saying how much they enjoyed their performance and I have to say that we would not have any hesitation in recommending them to others.

Thank you so much for your help with making our recent wedding at Rowhill Grange so special. All of our guests absolutely loved having the band playing as they enjoyed their drinks & canapés, and so many have commented how it was wonderful to have something so different and unusual at a wedding. Martin & I were so delighted you were able to provide the tropical atmosphere that we wanted & you really helped to make our day absolutely wonderful for us both, although of course the perfect weather helped (so thanks too if you had any hand in that!). I'm only sorry that we didn't get to chat to you properly & thank you on the day, as we were so occupied with photographs. Many thanks again, and very best wishes.

I have come to two of Carabana's concerts at Dorking Halls now and I love them. They bring sunshine to everyone and this time I brought 15 friends! and they all loved them too. Hope we will see them again soon.
