The Covered played at our wedding in London recently and from the first minute after we booked to their last song at the wedding they were thoroughly professional, personable, and great fun. They played a two-hour-plus set that got everyone up dancing like lunatics. What more could you ask for!? Their song list spans from the 60s through to the now and the band read the crowd to make sure the next song played is going to keep everyone up and dancing.
We booked them knowing very little about them, but we're so glad we did. John was extremely helpful throughout the process and goes the extra yard to make his clients happy.

They were fantastic! The dance floor was never empty. They had people dancing who NEVER dance! Everyone loved them. they pitched the music just right for the audience. I would definitely book them again.

Booked to play at a joint 60th party for me and my twin sister. John was a pleasure to work with during the booking and planning stage. The band are very professional and John and Sara were great lead singers with so much energy and passion backed by a fantastic band. Great interaction with the audience who were up on their feet from the first song to the last. We didn’t want it to end. Many of my friends wondered where I’d found you guys and said what a brilliant band you were. I’d recommend The Covered without hesitation and will also keep an eye out for where they are playing as I’d certainly be interested in seeing them live again or will book them for the next family celebration. We had The Covered for our wedding. We wanted s band with keyboards and multiple singers. We found everything to be very professional, as well as easy and laid back. John was great organising and chatting about songs, long in advance as well as on the day. The sound was fantastic, and everyone had great energy. Highly recommend and would book again in a flash. Don’t hesitate!

We had the guys come up and play for our wedding. Everything was fabulous - including admin and communication. Sound was great - loads of good songs, lots of energy, and the group were excellent putting up with our delays on the day! The dance floor emptied at the break, but John and all started up again and it filled up! Great energy and would certainly book again.

Absolutely fantastic. Acoustic set in the afternoon fit brilliantly with the festival theme. And the evening was amazing. Every song a ‘floor filler’ with plenty of singing along. X

‘The Covered’ were fantastic for my Mum’s 70s/80s themed birthday party. We chose them from the great reviews they have online, and were certainly not disappointed. John was very responsive to all emails, and was able to accommodate all of our song requests either with the band themselves or the playlist he created for us. We were very impressed with the set up of the 6 piece band (plus their own sound engineer), and their early arrival to make sure everything was sorted before guests arrived. Throughout the night they were incredibly flexible to changes to our planned schedule e.g. starting slightly later to accommodate slower eaters! This is before we even mention their actual performance which was brilliant - both lead singers had great voices and the sound quality was just what we were looking for. We would definitely hire them again!

On behalf of the Bentley Drivers Club, thank you and your colleagues of The Covered Band for what can only be described as an outstanding performance at The Grand Bentley Centenary Ball on Saturday. The fact that so many people came on to the dance floor combined with the enthusiasm and superb musicianship was was all that anyone could have hoped for.

The Covered, played my recent wedding and were amazing. The booking process made so easy by John and on the night were so accommodating to changes to the schedule and playing through one of their breaks.
Everyone loved the music and the dual lead singers, made the band stand out against other bands out there. The fact that they will learn a song for you is amazing. They even collided with family members, who want to surprise us with their dance routine that they have been practicing.
All I can say is that they were fantastic and would definitely recommend them.

Great band, fantastic energy, made the night!

The Covered were incredible for our wedding! The venue unfortunately had a power cut a few songs into the bands set and they very kindly stayed on much later than we had originally planned so they could finish their set once the power came back on! They saved our wedding evening and we are extremely grateful and can't thank them enough. Would highly recommend.

I had this fantastic band for my wedding, John was brilliant to deal with and the playlist they had was perfect.

hired the band for a Masonic charity ball and have to say that they were worth every penny that I paid.

A good range of music to suit all tastes and managed to keep the dance floor humming for most of the evening culminating with a mass sing along.

When you start planning your wedding, there are lots of factors that you need to take into account, however for me, the music was everything. I called The Covered Band, and spoke to John. From the moment we started talking about my ideas, i immediately felt at ease. We wanted a Country and Western wedding, and this may not be an easy request for some bands, For John, he seemed even more excited than me, that's when i realised, i needed this band, to perform on our day. The enthusiasm and professionalism all the band provided, was the highlight of the day, not to mention the encouragement before hand. I had requested a few of our favourite songs, even the request to use my father's guitar for some songs, as these were really important for us. John always replied, sure, and i honestly couldn't of been happier to know that he was onboard, and was prepared to make sure our wedding would be remembered in years to come.

Imagine, being on the dance floor, with all your friends and family, smiles on everyone's faces, whilst dancing like their having the time of their lives. I stood back, for a slight second, to admire that moment. It was truly spectacular!!

If you are considering having a band, for your wedding, this is most definitely, the band you need to book. I just wish I could do it all over again and couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Band played at my 60th birthday party, we were absolutely delighted with the musicality and choice of songs, you really became part big part of party! The song renditions are fantastic, the playing and singling is spot on. All my guests loved the atmosphere and dancing that you brought. Song choice was great, lots of what I liked, but with some great party songs to get everyone up. Big thanks for making the night a true celebration! Of course it goes without saying now.....I recommend this band!

The Covered were fantastic. They kept a group of mixed ages (18 - 80) on the dance floor all evening, responded to requests and ensured the evening went well. The Covered were great throughout the planning of our wedding and their performance on the actual day! We got married on New Years eve, and given the covid rates around this time it was pretty touch and go whether new restrictions would be put in place. John stayed in touch throughout which was reassuring! On the day, unfortunately one of the vocalists was taken unwell which meant that John and the rest of the band had to re work their set list pretty much on the spot. That being said, we would never have known if john had not told us. Their performance was great and all of the guests really enjoyed the evening! Would highly recommend The Covered for other weddings and events! Thank you.

I booked The Covered for my 40th birthday party. Communication with John was excellent from the start. They arrived when they said they would with everything they needed. They asked to change the location in the room I had selected which turned out to be the best idea & made for a much better atmosphere. The music was brilliant & had us all dancing the night away! The Covered performed at my wedding . I couldn't have asked for a better band - their performance was slick and energetic from start to finish. They covered modern songs, just as well as old classics. Every member of this band is a total star, each of them standing out in their own way.
They performed some of mine and my husbands favourite songs, reducing us to tears with the emotional ballads and making every person in the 100 strong crowd dancing till the early hours with the faster numbers!
I also appreciated John's organisation in the lead up to the day, he knew the best timings to suggest, the best order of songs, the best way to do the sound check. He leaves no stone unturned.
Without a doubt, the best decision we made on our wedding day to have them perform. I could not recommend them more. 10/10.

The initial enquiry was promptly responded to. We traded a few e mails and a phone call, I got a sense from our first contact that you were approachable, friendly and passionate about delivering the best performance you could for your client.
On the day of the event, you were present at the venue nearly 3 hours before the start of the performance. Whilst I struggled with helium balloons (I now know I could never be a children's entertainer!!) I could see and hear how much attention to detail went into the preparation for your performance. I think it's worth mentioning that your sound engineer, Ivan, is an absolute expert. I felt very lucky to see and hear your passion as all of the band prepared for the performance.
During the course of the set up, I had the opportunity to catch up with individual band members. You were all so down to earth and friendly it really set the scene for an inclusive and friendly evening.
Coming on to the performance. Stunning!! Incredible and stunning. The stage backdrop was very attractive and complimented the performance. The drums! Super fantastic to watch and hear. There was so much to see and hear from The Covered, all of it fantastic!
One of the guests told me later, "The band were great, certainly the best I have heard for many years". To be fair, the compliments for your performance were non stop.
If you are reading this review as a potential client, don't hesitate!! Book this amazing band before they get snapped up.

The Covered were amazing! They played at my daughters 30th birthday and everyone said they made the night. People were up dancing right from the start and one of the guests even sang a couple of songs with the band. They were so accommodating and the playlist was perfect. Sarah the lead singer was amazing, she joined us on the dance floor and sang her heart out at the same time. What a voice! The Covered recently played at mine and my wife’s wedding. They were a hit (to say the least) and I had numerous guests coming up to me to praise the eclectic mix of songs. The music was excellent but I was also really impressed with the professionalism and flexibility of the band too. We were slightly running behind schedule as dinner was taking longer to serve. However, the guys were extremely patient and considerate to this. We really appreciated this. They even let my father in law play along with them too which was a lovely touch.

John and his band did a TREMENDOUS job at our winter wedding two weeks ago. Our guests were mainly from the Netherlands, therefore our choice of band was very important to us, considering the fact that our guests cannot sing along to every English song. However, John and his band really know how to entertain any crowd, so friendly, funny, and really understood the vibe and how to start the party!
