I can’t express enough how happy we are that we choose this band. They made my mums surprise 60th birthday party a night to remember! They were extremely professional & listened to our requests prior to the event & excelled our expectations on the night. We gave them a playlist of my mums favourite songs to incorporate in the night & they put their own twist on the songs so they fit perfectly with the party theme. The whole room which was a mixture of ages was up & dancing & they created an amazing atmosphere. They are so versatile and extremely talented that I would definitely use them again for any future event.
All the guests raved about them and said what a wonderful night they had. Thanks again Jess, her family & friends x

We hired Craic With Us for our wedding in August 2019. I cannot recommend this band enough, they are absolutely incredible. Their energy is amazing and had the dance floor full for the entire day and night. We've had so much positive feedback about the band from our wedding guests...which is 100% deserved. ABSOLUTLEY FANTASIC X

Lilac was amazing. it was such a sad day for us but she managed to get us singing and even dancing!, by the end. I cant praise her enough. We will hopefully book Lilac again for a happier occasion

Wow! What a voice! We booked this band for our wedding reception and they were absolutely FANTASTIC! Lilac's voice and musical talent is outstanding. Throughout the entire process the communication was efficient and helpful, it was really beneficial to meet them online remotely prior to booking too and build up rapport beforehand.

Lilac, Hilary and Remko recently played at a private party I organised for my wife's 50th Birthday and I couldn't recommend them highly enough.
They were everything you would want a band to be - helpful and adaptable in terms of agreeing the set list, professional and communicative throughout, incredibly efficient on set-up and ultimately outstanding performers. Not just in terms of playing and singing, but also in terms of stagecraft and working the crowd.
We had an amazing knees-up dancing to Irish reels, folk songs and modern Irish hits in rapid rotation. Not only that but the guys hung on for a couple of hours after the performance and chatted with all of the guests and were a tremendous addition to the bonhomie of the evening.
Snap them up, they are a rare and delightful band.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Craic With Us perform at our wedding, and they completely exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, they brought incredible energy, professionalism, and talent to our special day. Their traditional Irish music was breathtaking and set the perfect tone during the early part of the evening. It was authentic, vibrant, and played with real heart. When it came time for the ceilidh, they had everyone—young and old—up on their feet. Lilac explained the dances so clearly and with such fun energy that even guests who had never done a ceilidh before were dancing with huge smiles on their faces. It was one of the absolute highlights of the day! Later, they transitioned seamlessly into their DJ set, keeping the dance floor packed until the very end. They read the room perfectly and played a brilliant mix of songs that appealed to all ages. So many of our guests have told us how much they loved the music and the atmosphere it created. Sound with Us brought something truly special to our wedding, and we can’t thank them enough. If you're looking for a band that can do it all—live Irish music, ceilidh calling, and DJing—look no further. They are phenomenal!

We had two wonderful ladies playing Irish music and songs at a home 21st birthday party. We had the BEST time thank you, and you guys really made the party. We’ve had such fab compliments from all the youngsters who really enjoyed your tunes - a mixture of trad folk songs and modern - and absolutely loved the couple of Ceilidh dances (even after a few drinks!) which you led so well for us, super fun. Thanks to you both for making it all so special. You really are spot on with your tunes and very talented musicians and singers. I will never understand how you can play three instruments at one time and make it all sound and feel so good. AMAZING and I would recommend for any event, young or old.

I am writing to thank you so much for providing the amazing band, Funk With Us to perform at our Chamber Awards Thursday 18th November at Westenhanger Castle.

The dance floor was full from the start of the band playing to the very last number with shouts of ‘more’ from the audience after the last one was played. Funk With Us added another level to our most successful Awards evening yet and we have had so many compliments from the guests.

Every member of the band was brilliant from the 2 singers who invited the dancers to sing with them on vocals, the saxophonist mingling and the solo guitar performance, drums, bass and keys. It was such an enjoyable evening.

BEST BAND EVER!!

Lilac and her 6pc funk band played at our wedding in Summer 2021, and Rem DJ'd. Both sets were absolutely fantastic!

In the build up to the wedding, Lilac and Rem were incredibly helpful in guiding us through our playlist, identifying crowd pleasers and song collections which worked incredibly well together. They were both full of ideas and suggestions and left no stone unturned in their preparations! Planning our evening set with them was a real giggle! They were very clear in outlining their requirements on the day, and recommending what timings would work well. They were also incredibly understanding, cooperative, and willing to be flexible as we waited to plan our wedding around COVID.

On the day, Lilac and the team were full of energy and this reverberated around the room, creating a truly special atmosphere! Lilac has an amazing, soulful voice and so much stage presence! The saxophonist was also outstanding!! They kept the dance floor filled all evening and full of noise as we all sang along. Lilac and the team's set was incredible, and they kept going beyond the two 45 min slots to all of our delight!

Rem's DJ set to conclude the evening was incredible! He struck a really great balance between old school classics and more modern, higher tempo tunes. We'll remember excitedly dancing along to Avici and Craig David, and finishing off with a sing along to Wonderwall, Sweet Caroline and Angels, with all our best friends surrounding us, for the rest of our lives!

Funk With Us providing the band, DJ and PA for our wedding on the 9th October 2021. And they were absolutely amazing.

In the lead up to the event, their diligence and patience in helping sort out some issues around sound levels at the venue went way above and beyond what we'd initially agreed with them. They friendly, highly personal service and wish to really understand what we wanted for the day meant we felt really positive and confident going into the day.

On the day itself, they were amazing with the band being great fun, really getting involved and making sure the dance floor was both packed and super fun.

We would absolutely recommended everytime, these guys are amazing. 12/10.

Funk With Us were just fantastic! We got married in August, and after the last year or so, it was just magical to be able to have a good dance with friends and family, and the band encouraged everyone to get up and dance - and that is what everyone did! Having a live band makes such a difference to the day, and we would truly recommend them. We booked Funk With Us for our wedding in October and wow, it was the best decision ever!! The music and dancing part of the wedding was so important for us and SWU absolutely smashed it - so much energy from start to finish - we (and our guests) never left the dancefloor. It exactly what we'd hoped for and dreamed of... especially after 2 postponements! We loved being able to choose our favourite music from the SWU repertoire - which Lilac then transformed into the perfect setlist for our party. After the wedding, so many of our guests commented on how amazing the band was - and its the music makes the party!! Huge thank you to Lilac and Remko for everything.

Sounds with Us we’re absolutely phenomenal at our wedding! Everything was perfect, the lead up we had multiple chats and they got to know us, find out our music taste then the day was just brilliant. Funk With Us are absolutely phenomenal. Obviously I am biased but they are honestly the best wedding band I’ve ever seen perform.
