Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

We need a performance space of at least 4 meters x 4 meters. We require 2 x 13 amp power sockets.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig.

What information do you require about a venue?

We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

One of our best gigs has to be a packed wedding at The Savoy in London—non-stop energy, a buzzing dance floor, and a couple who truly knew how to throw a party! As for venues, playing at Somerset House was an unforgettable experience—the atmosphere, the history, and the crowd made it electric.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

We’re heavily influenced by the legends of funk, soul, and disco—think Earth, Wind & Fire, Chic, Stevie Wonder, and Prince. If we had to pick a favourite artist, Stevie Wonder has to be up there—his music just brings people together. And the greatest song of all time? It’s got to be September by Earth, Wind & Fire. Instant joy in three and a half minutes.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

Our band is made up of some of London’s top session musicians who’ve played in West End shows, toured with major UK artists, and performed at venues like the O2. We started gigging the same way most musicians do—hustling through pub gigs, function bands, and session work before coming together to create a band that delivers a truly unforgettable live experience.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

Nothing beats a wedding! There’s something magical about bringing two families together on the dance floor, seeing grandparents boogie alongside the bridesmaids, and keeping the energy high from the first dance to the last encore. It’s all about making memories, and we love being a part of that.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

We take around 1.5 hours to set up and sound check, ensuring everything sounds perfect. Our standard performance is 2 x 60-minute sets throughout the evening, finishing by 11 pm. We’re also happy to run a playlist between sets and keep the party going with background music until midnight.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Absolutely! We love outdoor gigs, but to keep the music sounding its best, we just ask for some shade or weather protection, a flat, level surface, and a nearby power supply.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

We’ve got a huge repertoire of over 150 songs covering funk, disco, soul, and pop. Clients can mix and match their favourites to create a bespoke setlist that’s perfect for their event.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Clients always tell us that we keep the dance floor packed from start to finish. From the first note to the final encore, we bring the energy, the hits, and the party vibes to make it a night no one forgets!
