DJ-G is a professional DJ with big personality who guarantees to keep the dance floor full and the dancers entertained. Musically, DJ-G has had a fantastic life full of musical adventures including being a Wedding DJ, Radio DJ, Club DJ, professional guitarist, bassist and singer, recording engineer, ceilidh dance caller and live sound engineer.
All these elements have led him to his job as DJ and all his learning over the years create the ‘perfect storm’ of experience to make sure your party will be the one to beat. Amongst many other acts and music industry roles throughout his career, he was the original guitarist with the Red Hot Chilli Pipers playing to huge live and TV audiences, and after that he toured the world with his own band, Bags of Rock.
DJ-G has also been involved with the legendary Scottish dance act, The Rhythmic State for years and when he's not DJing, he produces all sorts of music from techno to heavy rock and everything in-between, for clients at his studio, The HQ Glasgow, as well as being a signed producer. However, when DJ-G is working for you, YOUR wish is his command and everything he does is tailored to YOUR requirements.

Hi, I’m “G – rocking your party is my thing!
I am 44 years old and have worked professionally in the UK and worldwide wedding and corporate entertainment industry for the last 28 years, starting as a professional entertainer at the age of 16. There are very few Scottish venues that I have not performed in. I cater to and have DJ'd EVERY style of music, whether it be 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 2000's, Pop, Rock, Metal, Country, Reggae, Hip-Hop, all variations of Dance music and GBX anthems. I'm always happy to create a bespoke event to YOUR taste. I can also host/ MC and Ceilidh dance call at your event if required.
As a DJ, I've travelled the globe to entertain and as a club DJ, I have spun the turntables in many Scottish clubs, including headline sets at Glasgow’s legendary "Arches" Super Club. This is where I honed the craft of DJing, whether it be cueing up the classics or beat-matching electronic music, adding my madcap microphone antics.
