DJ Shel did a great job. He was good at reading the room and getting tracks that get people to dance. We had a lot of French and Irish people at the wedding (as well as British ones) and each country was well looked after with "local" tracks that people loved. I am a French reviewer but loved how Sheldon got our Irish guests to go crazy on the dance floor !

All in all: highly recommended.

We were very happy with DJ Shel. The communication prior to the event was great and we discussed the playlist and other details. He arrived on time, even earlier, set everything up and was ready to go. The kids really enjoyed dancing and singing. Special thanks for improvising a karaoke solution when our fancy karaoke machine didn't work properly

DJ Shel made the night, setting the mood and playing great tracks right through to the last song with his own panache and style, judging the mood on the floor perfectly. Many of our guests commented how good he was: he's clearly extremely talented. We couldn't be happier with the service we got and would strongly recommend him.

DJ Shel arrived punctually to set everything up. Prior to the day he kept me in the loop regularly asking important questions about timings and selections. He was extremely accommodating as on the day I asked if he could stay on for an hour which he did.

DJ Shel got the guests up and was professional throughout. Hopefully he will return for other events we may be holding.

We really appreciated Sheldon's flexibility to work around some of the different aspects of our wedding. We needed to incorporate a number of unusual traditions and requests into the evening's entertainment and Sheldon worked to ensure they could all be successfully achieved.

My husband and I had a joint birthday tea dance last week at the Grimsdyke Hotel. Sheldon provided fabulous jazz and soft music on guitar and keyboard during the tea. After this he became our DJ and had everybody up and dancing for 2 hours! I have had so many wonderful comments from my friends and family all citing the great job Sheldon did.
I would not hesitate to have Sheldon supply the music for any parties or functions we have in the future.

Myself and my partner Tim got engaged in August 2016, and having worked in PR and events for more than ten years, one of my biggest decisions after the venue (and the dress of course) was entertainment. I remember spending hours researching acoustic guitarists, because I really wanted to walk down the aisle to an acoustic guitar. But I didn't just want the run of the mill guitarist, I wanted a real profesysional. So I had a number of factors on my checklist. I don't know if Sheldon realised just how long I searched for him but I swear it felt like a lifetime. I wanted a genuinely talented, entertaining guitarist who was also a professional, who understood the importance of my big day, someone adaptable and unique. And even after all of this someone who had fantastic reviews... and someone who had a proven track record online. My eyes and ears genuinely lit up the day I found Sheldon, he had the most professional website, he was passionate and tech savvy enough to have video blogs. For a future bride to bride I loved watching them and picturing my own big day. It wasn't just that though because the first time I emailed Sheldon, I had an instant and helpful response and within a day, we were speaking on the phone. He knew exactly what to say and even explained that rather than paying for a DJ, he could do it all in one. This made perfect sense to me, as my experience juggling suppliers for events, I was desperate to hire one pro to take over one element of the wedding. And choosing Sheldon to organise the audio was the best decision I could have made.

Sheldon performed 3 45 minute sets at our wedding, our first dance and then was our DJ for the rest of the evening. From our first conversation, Sheldon was fantastic. He even learnt a song from a YouTube video for our first dance and it was perfect! All our guests have commented how good he was. The choice of songs was perfect and he had everyone dancing until the end of the night. Highly recommend!"

We chose DJ Shel for our wedding party after an exhaustive search on Google. We were looking for someone to create a really intimate party atmosphere with a wide range of music to cater for all age groups and had been encouraged by his website and Instagram posts. Following a couple of ‘get to know you’ phone calls, we decided that he was the DJ for us, so we went ahead and hired him. This turned out to be an excellent decision.

DJ Shel hit the nail on the head. He played all our requested music and we were delighted with the overall feel of the night. The party was very successful and we had a lot of compliments from our guests for how fabulous the whole wedding was including the party.

DJ Shel performed at Laura’s and my wedding, in the south of France in May 2017. He played guitar, sang vocals and DJ-ed, for the duration of the festivities. The whole day was an incredible success, and Shel was an integral part of that. In addition to his musical and DJing abilities, he is extremely communicative, helpful and adaptable. His experience and calm demeanour helped things run more smoothly. Throughout the whole process, pre-, during and post-wedding, he was really easy to deal with. We're so glad we had Sheldon DJ at our wedding. He played every single one of our favourite tunes and threw in his own ones which blended perfectly with what we wanted. His mixing was seamless and he kept people of all ages on the dancefloor from the 1st track to the last. He is a great guy and very easy to work with. If you want a wicked DJ for your party, then Sheldon is your man!

My husband and I hired Sheldon to perform throughout our wedding day in September. Sheldon was a pleasure to work with on the lead up to the wedding, with great communication, support and ideas – just what we needed through the planning stages! Our evening guests were blown away with Sheldon’s early evening performance and they loved hearing some modern songs with great twists.
