With a decade of experience as a seasoned DJ, I bring a rich history of DJ'ing at corporate events for renowned brands such as Ralph Lauren, Fenwick's, Sunglasses Hut, Adanola, and Channel 4. My portfolio includes performances at prestigious venues like Sexy Fish, The Ivy and Dirty Martini Bar.
My joy is to work closely with my clients to curate their perfect vision. I love to consult with playlists and understand what the audience is going to want. Equally I enjoy working from a light brief, then reading the room, no matter how varied and different the audience is, taking requests on the day, also.
Bukky has played from glitzy staff parties at Channel 4 Extra, to gritty basement clubs in Brighton, to commercial clubs such as Revolution, all the way to big rooms in Brighton (Concord 2, The Haunt), and all around London, from Mayfair's Sexy Fish, Soho's The Ivy and The Strand's Hotel Café Royal.
Expert at feel-good house, commercial house with a sharp twist of world/alternative, Bukky always keeps it fresh and exciting for his audience. Known for his affinity with Garage, 90s Classics, mixed with a pinch of 80s, Bukky's strength is blending together tunes that everyone knows and loves. With the ability to move back into his Hip/Hop, Pop, RnB and Afrobeat roots, Bukky poses a deadly threat to non-movers at any party.

Yes, absolutely.
The best venue and gig I've played would probably be supporting Becky Hill at Battersea Evolution Centre.
The venue is amazing and the crowd were extremely pumped!!
I take influences across the ages and across genres. Modern music is built from the influences of the past so I love to go back to 70s and 80s music as you can see how much it influences today. For example I love a modern banger like Afraid to Feel from LF System - and you can see it's pulled right from the 70s.

I love playing Weddings, Birthdays and Corporate Parties. They all have their charm.
Bringing joy to people and seeing people get outside their head and lose themselves in the music. When you drop a tune at the right time the crowds reaction can be the best feeling in the world, it's pure magic, everyone is feeling like, I can't believe this moment is happening! which is great to be a part of. I also love playing those cool tunes where everyone is thinking at the same time damn, this is a tune!!
Everyone is always very grateful and satisfied after one of my sets. I get people coming up to me and from the bottom of their heart saying, thank you. So I suppose its the customer satisfaction that you are guaranteed. A client emailed me only last week saying - Hi Bukky, I just wanted to thank you for such a great night on Saturday. Everyone loved it! You were amazing - and very patient with my many requests for the same song! When you walk away from a set and you know you made people's night - that's why clients should chose me.
Having DJ'd for over 10 years I know the value I can bring. Also I'm a friendly down to worth chap so clients tell me they enjoy working with me!
Lastly I would say that I have a diverse taste in music which always keeps an evening interesting. I specialise in Disco House or RnB.
6pm or 7pm typical set up time
7pm or 8pm typical performance time
11pm or 12am - typical end time.
Yes as long as I have some protection from the elements!
Total collaboration with the client!
Energetic, exciting, diverse. If the setting is a wedding or a Birthday then this energy shines through, engaging the audience. If the setting is more laid back then I mirror this style. I am a dancing DJ in that I love to dance when DJ'ing and enjoy the music! If the mood is chill and cool then I am more lo-key. If the party are crazy, best believe I'm bringing the noise!
Feeling out the room and being sensitive to what my clients and the audience want! Then feeling what journey the next track will take the audience on. Also having absolute bangers! This helps a great deal! Lastly its the preparation before the event, doing playlist consultation and being prepared to take requests on the night!
