If you’ve spent any time on a dance floor over the last 25 years, there’s a chance we’ve shared a moment or two. My name’s George Dee, and I’ve been lucky enough to spend over a quarter of a century doing what I love; playing records for people who just want to feel the music.
I started out like a lot of DJs from my generation (in the clubs), digging through crates, and falling in love with house music. That energy still runs through everything I do. Over the years, I’ve worked as a resident DJ in major nightclubs and played at everything from weddings and corporate events to private parties across the UK and abroad. Along the way, I’ve learned one thing for sure: no two crowds are the same, and the magic happens when you really listen to the room.
These days, I bring that same old-school instinct to every event. My collection spans decades and genres from Reggae & HipHop to disco, house, pop, and everything in between even Chill-out moods and The Buddha bars’.
Whether I’m keeping things classy during dinner or packing the dance floor late into the night, my goal is always the same, to connect with people through music and create moments that stick with them.
I’m also proudly old-school when it comes to how I play, You won’t find me relying on sync buttons. In fact, the mixes on my Mixcloud page (djgeorgedee) were recorded live over 12 years ago straight from my mixer, no edits, no software. That’s still how I approach every gig today! real, raw, and built on feeling.
If you’re looking for a DJ who treats your event like it matters (because it does) drop me a line, I’d love to hear what you’ve got planned.
Cheers,
George

I started playing music when i was 10 and as i grew older i started playing for family and friends, from Vinyl to Cassettes to CDs i’ve seen it evolve then landed my 1st residency in a very posh (titanic style) piano bar called Shaker’s on the river Nile in the early 2000’s. After that i started playing in tourist attraction places like Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada, from Hotels and Nightclubs to Weddings, i’ve been through it all, I was well connected to sound & lighting hiring companies (friends) and at a very young age i learnt to adjust the sound for entire bands in large events and i learned from the best in the industry. 27 years later and i still spin decks and with a wealth of experience in sound check, room reading, and dealing with challenges.
I have a handpicked library, from the 60’s to today’s music; picked song by song.
