Dorchester Strings were incredible!
They played beautifully during our drinks receptions, where is was so lovely to have them playing in the background. They mostly played modern music, that we had requested, so many guests commented saying it was like Bridgerton!
Hearing them play was one of the highlights of our day, the only downside was we should have had them for longer as we had to go away for photos during part of our drinks receptions.
We would highly recommend Dorchester Strings for any event and perfect for any wedding!

I just wanted to send you all an email to thank you for your time on Tuesday. I really appreciated you all coming from so far away to play for the film. I have already seen some of the footage and it looks and sounds amazing. I can’t wait for you all to see the finished product.

We just wanted to very belatedly get in touch to say a huge thank you to you and Dorchester Strings for your beautiful performances for our wedding on 7 May. We had so many compliments on the day and since, including about at what a difference it made to the atmosphere. Everyone loved the ceremony music (even if it made so many of us cry!) and the impact on the drinks reception was just wonderful. We hope you could hear everyone up top clapping as you finished! The music choices got referenced by the best man during the speech later and you got a cheer in absentia. Our sincere thanks for such a beautiful, skilled addition to our celebration.

Thank you, it was a pleasure to have you playing again at our awards evening last Thursday.  We have received some lovely comments by those who attended from recipients and their guests regarding your lovely music.

We just wanted to say thank you to you for all you did on the wedding day. We really appreciated your playing and it went down very well.

We probably made things a little difficult for the Strings in that our guest ages ranged from 6 to 90 and in a vast open area, their sound was difficult to hear unless in the main lawn area, and people were wandering everywhere.
Having said that, several guests gave me feedback that was very positive and that they enjoyed the music a lot. Jane and the guys co-operated fully with any requests made, and I got a lot of comments where people recognised tunes but without words made it a challenge to identify the song or artist. I had hoped to get a few people dancing but my attempt failed, guests were very much into conversations with friends and family they had not seen got for considerable time.
Overall, the strings were very professional, please pass on my thanks to Jane and her colleagues, just a feeling that we did not do them justice.
