Hi there!

I’m Elliott and I’m an acoustic singer/songwriter from Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Though I have lived in both Carlisle and Cardiff over the years.

Here is a little bit about myself and what I’ve done so you can decide if I’m the right fit for you!

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in drama and musical theatre where I co-wrote a musical and developed my first EP called Sketches. I then went on to do a Masters of Arts degree in Songwriting and Production where I produced an album called Ten Foot Wall.

I have performed many open mics, songwriters’ nights and small festivals including Cumbria Pride 2015, Sheffields’ Diversity Fest twice, local pubs tramline fringe events, Sheffield family music festival and more. During the days I work with babies and small children doing live musical sessions (So I know many nursery rhymes too if you need the kiddies entertained for a bit!)

During the Covid induced lockdown I performed a handful of virtually streamed gigs, I recorded two EPs (from home, obviously, because of covid), I became a member of the American owned LGBT+ Songwriter’s Collective known as Gifting Pride and I have also had some of my lyrics published in Transverse 2.

I play both the guitar and ukulele. However I mostly arrange all my songs on the guitar so if you would like some ukulele please make that known upon request.

Whilst I am available to hire for any party/event/function I have specific packages for weddings which I will describe below, including wedding proposals!. (All times are flexible as no two weddings are the same. It was just to give you, the reader, a rough idea).

Proposals!

Choose a song from my repertoire or a song of your choice and I will come serenade you while you pop the question! (or sometime before/after, up to you). Even if its only 24 hours notice, if I'm not busy and you don't mind me having the sheet music on a stand for me to read from then I'm your guy! (obviously the more notice the better for me to learn a brand new song, but this is LAST MINUTE musicians after all!).

Wedding Ceremony

A song of your choice to be performed as the bridal party enters, two or three during signing of the register and lastly one during the exit.

Drinks Reception & Photographs

60 to 120 minutes of acoustic songs from my repertoire while you take photos and guests enjoy their drinks/canapés.

Wedding Breakfast

Two 45/60 minutes sets of acoustic songs from my repertoire with a 30/60 minute break for speeches and toasts. (Timings are flexible depending on criteria for the day).

First Dance

A song of your choice from my repertoire or learnt especially (subject to availability) for your first dance. As I have a master’s degree in song writing, I like to offer my skills to the happy couple by making the dance that bit extra special and offer a special package to have a song written especially for them. (Which can also be recorded for the wedding video upon request).

Evening Reception

Don't want the hassle of having a to hire a separate DJ? How about having my simple DJ set up for the night? With disco lights too!

More info

- I own my own PA system and speakers so don’t worry if your venue doesn’t provide any sound equipment (also happy to go full acoustic if wanted to as well)
- Feel free to use my microphones for toasts/speeches
- I have disco lighting included with the DJ equipment so any room can feel like a dance floor!
- All equipment is PAT tested
- I have performers public liability as a member of the musicians union
- I will liaise with your venue to sort all technical details (so you don’t have too!)
