The Full Beans were formed in 2014 by professional guitarists Jake and Chris. The plan was to play a mixture of old gypsy jazz standards and modern day rock/pop classics with a gypsy twist. Having quickly made an impact on the Manchester acoustic scene with their first live shows at the end of the year, the duo has since expanded into a variety of line ups that can now offer vocals, upright bass, violin and drums as well. Known for their frantic and heavily improvised live shows mixed with intricately arranged medleys expect to see The String Beans busking in a town near you soon!
Alongside their touring and busking exploits The Full Beans are also available to hire as a more traditional background music act for restaurants, bars, weddings and other events. The Full Beans are also available as evening entertainment for wedding and corporate parties as something a bit different to the usual function band.

Accommodation required for gigs more than 3 hours drive from Manchester.
Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig.

We’re happy to play outside but we ask for some sort of cover incase or rain, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
