I'm Georgia, a live wedding singer based in the South West, covering Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, and Dorset (further afield on request). Weddings are genuinely where my heart is — there's nothing I love more than being part of someone's most important day, and making it feel special is what drives everything I do. Every couple's story is different, and I want the music to reflect that: the nerves before the aisle walk, the joy of the first kiss, the warmth of the reception. Getting to be a small part of those moments, through song, is a privilege I never take for granted.
Music has been part of my life since childhood — from musical theatre and choirs to fronting a 40-piece big band in Bristol and performing with the Americana/Country-Rock/Blues outfit Soul of Georgia. I've always been drawn to slower, more emotional songs — ballads and love songs that let real feeling come through — and I've released my own original EP too. That passion for heartfelt music is exactly what I bring to your day.
I bring all my own equipment and can perform indoors or outdoors, at small or large venues, with battery-powered options available for locations without power.

I need enough space for my mic stand and 2 speakers either side of me so about 2 meters as a minimum. I would need electricity (Unless a battery setup is requested) and parking within a sensible distance to bring the equipment to and from the venue. If weather is unreliable and it's an outdoor event, I would need some kind of shelter for the electrical equipment.
I provide all my own lighting and sound equipment. The lighting i tend to only use for the evenings. I have 2 Alto Speakers and a sub woofer if needed (Again, tend to be more for evenings as my speakers are very powerful).
Access information, where i'd be situated and whether shelter is available in case of bad weather.
I can provide a Spotify set list, totally unique to the couple if wanted.
I've performed many times at The Brickhouse Vineyeard in Mamhead, Exeter. I simply love this venue as it's a smaller venue and i find that makes it much more personable and intimate.
I performed a wedding where the bride wanted to sing a song for her new husband and this was such a lovely thing to do. Such a unique gift for her loved one.
So many to name! I have always loved Eva Cassidy and her covers of well known songs in her unique acoustic/folk style. I also love artists like Adele, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Shania Twain. More recently, Ella Langley, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran.
I've been performing my whole life in one way or another.
As a child, i loved being on stage with musical theatre and variety shows.
More recently, i'm the lead singer of the country and americana band, Soul of Georgia, as well as a singer songwriter in my own name, Georgia Omarah.
I have done lots of weddings now and they are my favourite thing to do because the music is just so special to the couple.
Weddings and Festivals are my two favourites. Wedding more so because of the intimacy of the event, but i do love the crowd of a festival. I recently did Country Fest which had an amazing audience!
I can cater for you day's needs but often i'll sings for 45-1 hour at a time.
My sets are sometimes 2 x 45 minutes, or 2 x 1 hour.

Yes! Whilst i have a set list to base the majority of the songs around, i can add in songs that are special to the couple, especially when it comes to the ceremony itself. Please just ask.
