About / Biography

Well hello there!
I'm Anna the Golden Age Songbird
I'm a Vintage Singer (no not that kind) specialising in classic tunes from the 20's 30's and 40's plus modern day tunes with a jazzy vintage twist!
I began my professional career as a Showgirl in a Cabaret group in Cyprus and after a fabulous season of sun, sand and sequins- I decided to start my own business singing songs that I adored from the Golden Age of Musicals. This swiftly progressed to a love of Ella Fitzgerald, Vera Lynn and the Andrews Sisters and the rest is history...so to speak!
I performed at the grand opening of the art deco 1920's style bar "The Plaza" in Atherton town centre with my classic vintage jazz tunes and postmodern jukebox covers.
I sing regularly luxury 17th century hotel: Holland Hall as part of their easy jazz Sunday afternoons featuring songs from Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and many more!. And I am a fond favourite at Armed Forces and remembrance events in Wigan, St Helen's and Atherton.
I am no stranger to classical performances and have frequently performed for Funerals and wedding ceremonies including singing in Latin.
