We booked the band for our wedding reception back in October. We are both huge Irish music fans and have had several memorable trips to Ireland so it was especially important to us to have a live Irish band on our big day.

We spend a fair amount of time looking for the "perfect Irish band" and were over the moon to have found The Extonions. From the initial enquiry Mac was both friendly and very professional. He instantly made us feel like we had made the right decision and was more than happy to include any special song requests we had. He then made sure they included on the night and that everyone had a great time.

All the band members were lovely and friendly chatting to our guests and fitted in perfectly with our relaxed party atmosphere. Many of our guests have commented on how great they were and we would not hesitate in booking them again in the future or recommending them to others.

Thanks so much for making our wedding day so memorable.

We just wanted to say thank you to all the members of the band for playing at our wedding on 24/7/21.

You were all so kind and friendly, and played such wonderful music throughout the evening. You were the perfect band for our laid-back, happy summer wedding and it was a pleasure to be able to sit down and listen to your songs. Both us and our guests really enjoyed being able to chill out and soak up the atmosphere with some great music being played. It was really nice to meet you and have a chat whilst we were having our fish and chips too.

The Extonions played at a family birthday party and were amazing!

The Extonions played at our wedding in Somerset at the end of October and we cannot recommend them highly enough! They got everyone up on their feet and all our guests enjoyed dancing, clapping and tapping along! A very talented group of musicians and a must see! Thank you all so much.

For the third year The Brixham Pirate Festival will have The Extonions playing on the Main Stage. Pirates are a discerning crew and The Extonions had them a jiggin' and toe tappin' throughout their set. HUZZAH!!!

St Patrick's night at the Old Fire House Exeter was electric last night. The Extonions were well on form and had the place buzzing. Mac on his green electric fiddle raced away with jigs getting faster and faster, I'm surprised his fiddle didn't catch fire. Mike sang in his sexy Hank Marvin deep gravel voice with a lovely Irish twang. That got the ladies swooning. John swapped with ease from 6 to 12 string guitar and kept up a driving beat together with fingers flying over the strings to create a magical sound. James maintained the foundation of the band with solid bass.
The place was so packed it was like how many people can you get in a telephone box, they just kept pouring in. There must have been hundreds at the gig.
Feedback said it was the best St Patrick's venue in Exeter that night and greatly down to The Extonions. I highly recommend you don't miss their next gig.
