One of the best gigs I’ve ever done was singing the Italian national anthem live at the racing course during Festival Italy. Performing such an important song in front of a large, enthusiastic crowd was a special moment of pride and connection. That moment is actually captured in the main picture on my LMM profile. I’ve been fortunate to play at a wide range of venues- from jazz clubs to high-end events and intimate family gatherings. Every event brings its own unique energy, and I love sharing music in all kinds of settings.

I’ve been deeply influenced by some of Italy’s greatest voices, especially Mina, whose emotional power, versatility, and elegance inspire me daily. Alongside Mina, I admire iconic Italian artists like Ornella Vanoni, Gino Paoli, Lucio Dalla, and Domenico Modugno, whose timeless songs shaped the golden era of Italian music.

From the jazz world, I draw inspiration from legendary female singers such as Ella Fitzgerald for her flawless phrasing and warmth, Billie Holiday for her raw emotion, and Sarah Vaughan for her rich, sophisticated voice. Their influence shines through in my interpretations, especially when I add a vintage or jazzy twist to Italian classics.

Choosing the greatest song is hard, but “Volare” (Nel Blu Dipinto di Blu) by Modugno is iconic and uplifting, while Mina’s “Se Telefonando” is a haunting, deeply moving masterpiece.

Music is storytelling and connection, and these artists have taught me to convey both with authenticity and grace.

I’ve been involved in music for nearly 20 years, starting out busking on the streets of Italy. Those early days taught me a lot about connecting with people through song. Moving to London was a big step to focus fully on singing, and since then, I’ve performed everywhere- from high-end venues, festival, private clubs to small family gatherings. For me, music is always about connection and sharing genuine emotion with every audience.

I really enjoy playing at intimate events like weddings and private parties because the connection with the audience feels so personal and meaningful. Being able to create a special atmosphere and soundtrack for those important moments is incredibly rewarding. That said, I also love performing at larger events and festivals where the energy is vibrant and exciting- each setting brings something unique to the music.
