We were looking for a musician/singer for a birthday garden party and James P. Anno fit the bill perfectly.
His extensive list of soul/jazz/current songs was great and we were able to choose 10-15 songs off his list to play along with others that he played. We also requested a song that was not on his list and James happily learnt the song which was really appreciated and well received. We had two 1 hour sessions with a relaxed feel for the first set and then a more uptempo second set, which is what we had asked for and worked really well for our afternoon/early evening party.
James corresponded well, we had a zoom meeting to discuss what we wanted, the atmosphere we were trying to create and he took it all on board.
James arrived early to set up, he was polite, friendly and professional throughout and was extremely flexible.
James was a huge success with us and our guests, he is a great pianist and singer and there was lots of dancing.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend James.

He performed for our wedding anniversary and was able to read the room, in terms
of what music to sing and play to keep the guests dancing and having a good time.
He was at the venue well before our 'official' start time to set up, we spoke to him
prior to his set starting. Extremely friendly, personable and provided advice on
where it was best to set up so guests would get the most out of the performance.
Amazing voice and DJ skills, got the crowd going and even got involved in a little
dance!! Loads of great feedback from the guests about how good he was. Would
book in again in an instant. Thanks James! We would love to hear you play again in
the future.

We had booked James Nicholas for the drinks reception of our wedding on
21.10.2022. James Nicholas played a full 2 hour set with no interruption and
completely took on board what we had discussed in our initial meeting beforehand.
He is wonderfully talented musician, with a fantastic singing voice. So many of our
guests had commented to say how good he was and how much they enjoyed his
performance. I only wish that myself and my now husband were able to see more of
him on the actual day! Would absolutely recommend. He drove a long way for our
wedding and we were incredibly grateful. Thanks again!

We booked James for our Wedding that was due to take place in 2020. Due to the current situation we had to move our wedding to 2021. James was responsive and sympathetic and moved our wedding with no trouble.
When it came to the day, James was simply amazing. Hearing him warm up to the song I was walking down the aisle to, made my nerves disappear. Every song he sang was amazing and our guests had nothing but compliments.
