Graduating with First Class Honours in Music, James is an alto and tenor jazz saxophonist. Originally classically trained, James later branched into jazz and developed his own jazz style. He has performed with various jazz artists and ensembles such as The Sarah Munro Band, Sam Brasher Trio, Charged Particles feat. Paul McCandless, Nigel Price Trio and Xantoné Blacq's Band.
Comfortable playing solo, with backing tracks or with a jazz band, James has a deep understanding and interest in a variety of genres. This has allowed him to build up an extensive range of repertoire varying from Pop, Ibiza and Funk/Soul to classic Jazz standards.

Some venues have licensing restrictions on allowing amplified music outdoors, so please check this with your venue to make sure they are happy.
As soon as my PA is set up I can provide a background playlist to set the atmosphere before I start

I've played at many wonderful Wedding Venues, some of my favourites have been Hedsor House (Buckinghamshire),
Hyde House (Gloucestershire) & The Crazy Bear (Oxfordshire).
My performance style has been greatly influenced by a wide variety of artists such as Dexter Gordon, Calvin Harris and Stevie Wonder as well as Ibiza Sax players like Graziatto, Sandy Sax, Ellie Sax, Sam Sax, Lovely Laura & Jimmy Sax.

I love all events, but definitely Evening Parties alongside a DJ is the most fun! I love joining in on the dance floor!
