Jamie is a professional pianist based in Hampshire, UK, performing at weddings, private parties, corporate functions, and concerts across the UK and abroad. With a repertoire that stretches from elegant classical pieces to modern pop, jazz, and rock, he creates the perfect atmosphere for any occasion—romantic and intimate, stylish and sophisticated, or upbeat and fun.
Over the years, Jamie has played at hundreds of events, from beautiful wedding venues across the UK to world-renowned stages like The Royal Albert Hall and Westminster Abbey. His career has also taken him around the world, including residencies with P&O Cruises and Disney Cruise Lines—where he was named Musician of the Year 2012.

When I worked for Disney Cruise Lines as a pianist I met Richard Sherman, the composer of the music for Mary Poppins and a dozen other Disney films. We duetted on the piano and had a wonderful chat. A once in a lifetime moment.
Tower of Power, Earth Wind and Fire along with classic rock and pop artists. Bill Evans and Oscar Peterson are some of my biggest influences in jazz. I have quite a broad church in terms of my musical taste and listen to lots of different artists for inspiration. Modern artists like Dua Lipa and Taylor Swift bring a lot of energy to their performances and I respect their skill and hard work. My favourite song, difficult to choose , but, I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing by Aerosmith is right up there!
I started “gigging” At seven years old with Westminster Abbey Choir going on tours around the world, recording sessions at Abbey Road for the Braveheart movie soundtrack and Grammy Award nominations for classical albums. What a start that was! Performances at the Royal Albert Hall, Guildhall and various other venues followed.
I studied music at university and music college earning a bachelors and a masters degree in performance.
After graduation I worked for Disney Cruise Lines and P&O Cruises as a pianist and trumpet player. I travelled all over the world on the cruise ships and in 2012 was awarded the Disney Cruise Lines Musician of the year prize.
I still travel the world gigging and have regularly played in the ski resorts in France, Austria and Switzerland. Particularly in Zermatt. Get to those gigs if you can!
I have worked with dozens of bands and have featured on many albums.
My band has also played headline spots at the Isle of Wight Festival and other UK festivals.
Cowes Week, at the Duke of York on the Isle of Wight. It’s the best set of gigs in the whole year!
I’ll need an hour to setup and prepare.
Performance times vary but a typical performance of two hours is normal.
I can perform outside but I will need to have cover, in case of extreme hot or wet conditions. Electronic keyboards don’t like water. I do also have a mobile power unit for performances at remote locations. The battery will comfortably last a two hour performance and probably more.
Requests can be made in advance and I will try to accommodate as much as I can.
