It’s musical rebirth blending blues, jazz, and French pop, soul stirring melodies, stories of recovery, and music that rises, lingers, and transforms after the final note.
Jeanne Wilde is a French writer, composer, filmmaker and multi-instrumentalist based in London.
From performing in Berlin, London, and Paris, to playing at renowned festivals and iconic venues including Le Chat Noir, The New Morning, The Batofar, the Camden Club, the Phoenix Arts Club, the Dublin Castle, The Fiddler’s Elbow, she is known for her remarkable ability to compose very intimate songs about resilience and to improvise effortlessly and at length across any genre, she attributes this skill to her synaesthesia—experiencing music visually, as if watching a film. For her, composing is a form of cinematic storytelling.
Jeanne Wilde’s show is a musical journey about resilience, combining jazz/soul/pop/folk covers and original songs with an interactive live songwriting moment with the audience, which makes each event truly unique and unforgettable.

Yes that's absolutely fine, I am happy to play a selection of favourite tracks in between the sets.
I am fully self-contained, so everything is ready to go.
I once performed at New Morning, one of the most iconic jazz venues in Europe. The energy that night was incredible. I still remember the look in the audience’s eyes, it felt like we were all connected. That feeling is one of the main reasons I love making music.
Amy Winehouse and B.B. King are big references for me, I’m drawn to raw voices, groove, and emotion over flash.
If I had to pick one song, Breathe by Pink Floyd says a lot about how I approach music: space, dynamics, and letting a song breathe.
I started very young, recording backing vocals for world music projects in France. I was classically trained as a child, then went on to play in several blues-rock bands, performing in pubs and venues across France and England. I’ve played weddings, hotels, private parties, and both intimate and large venues, and I’m comfortable adapting to different settings and audiences.
I especially love events where the audience is close and engaged, intimate venues, private parties, and weddings where people are really listening as well as celebrating. That’s where the connection happens and the music can breathe, but I’m just as comfortable stepping up for bigger, high-energy events when needed.
I arrive 30 minutes early, play two 45-minute sets, and adapt easily to the audience and event.
Yes I am happy to perform outside.
It is a set repertoire, but if you let me know in advance I can prepare some of your favourites.
People have sometimes shared that the show felt personal or moving to them, and that means a lot to me. Someone said: "You make me feel beautiful inside".
