Having recently relocated from Staffordshire to Norfolk, I bring a wealth of musical experience, ranging from playing lead Alto and 1st Tenor sax in Big Band and Quartet performances to solo engagements. Whether you are planning a wedding, a reception, or a corporate event, I am prepared to tailor the musical atmosphere to perfectly suit your occasion.
With a professional collection of backing tracks at my disposal, I can accompany a wide variety of musical styles and moods, ensuring a versatile and engaging performance. My background in army music has afforded me the opportunity to play with some exceptional Big Bands, and I am currently an active member of two distinguished ensembles based in the Norwich area and a recently formed 8 piece Soul Band.
In addition to my band commitments, I regularly perform solo sets at Number Seventeen in Aylsham, a venue known for attracting enthusiastic and appreciative audiences. This ongoing engagement has honed my ability to captivate and entertain diverse crowds.
I am in the process of compiling show reels that will showcase my range and style. Please keep an eye out for these upcoming releases, which will provide a deeper insight into the quality and breadth of my performances. I look forward to the possibility of bringing memorable live music to your next event.
I offer a friendly and relaxed performance style, creating a warm and enjoyable atmosphere for your event.

Smooth Jazz Christmas songs from players Like Kenny G, Boney James, Scott Hamilton, Grover Washington Jr
I require an electric supply
Yes I am completely self contained. I bring my own PA system to all my gigs and can bring some small strobe lights
I need to have the correct post code/ venue address and access to load and unload, parking once unloaded would be a benefit.
I play music through my sound system once set up and during any breaks in a similar vain to your choice of music I will be playing.
I have played at several bars in my hometown that went down extremely well.
I have also played at beautiful wedding venues including The Assembly House in Norwich.
Many great jazz saxophonists including Phil Woods, Dexter Gordon, Stan Getz.
Smooth Jazz players like Boney James, Kenny G and Euge Groove.
To many songs to name just one favorite
I initially gigged with the Royal Signal band, then with several big bands both in Staffordshire and Norfolk, more recently with a Soul Band and many times as a solo performer.
I love playing at many types of events but weddings and corporate events can be very rewarding.
A recent Ibiza evening in a local bar was particularly well attended and everyone had a great time.
I normally take around 45 minutes to set up but like to arrive at least 90 minutes before my performance this gives me time to relax and to play some background music.
Yes I'm happy to play outside but require protection for my electrical equipment and some shade from bright sunlight, I would also require a power supply.
Most clients are happy for me to put a set list together in the style they require ie Jazz, pop etc but they are welcome to choose songs from my list of songs, if I can get specific songs and learn them before the event I will make every effort but will limit this to 6 songs and there may be a charge for backing tracks I do not already own.
Here is a review from a recent wedding I attended:
Kevin was absolutely brilliant at our family outdoor festival-style wedding! We kept him as a surprise for our bride, and she was completely blown away when she heard the saxophone, it made the day even more magical and memorable.
From start to finish, Kevin was incredibly professional, friendly, and so easy to work with. Everything was effortless and completely fuss-free, which meant we could relax and enjoy the day knowing everything was in safe hands.
His performance created the perfect atmosphere for the celebration during the cocktail hour, and so many of our guests commented on how fantastic he was. We couldn’t have asked for a better musician to be part of such a special occasion. Thank you again, Kevin, for helping make the wedding day unforgettable. We would recommend you without hesitation!
