Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

One of my standout moment so far was performing a short set along side Country Bound at a Military Barracks. The response from the crowd was immediate- raw, emotional songs landing with an audience that really connected to the lyrics and energy. It confirmed that Jelly Roll's music resonates deeply in a live setting and felt like the perfect starting points for the project

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

Jelly Roll is without question, my biggest influence, not just musically but in terms of story telling and honesty. His ability to blend country, rock and hip hop while laying his life bare in his lyrics is what makes the music hit so hard.

Other influences include artists who bur genre lines and prioritise emotional connection:
Chris Stapleton
Johnny Cash
Post Malone

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

Anywhere that audiences are up for big singalongs and a proper heartfelt atmosphere

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

We normally arrive 1.5 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets(add on). We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.

Are you happy to perform outside?

We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade and that the band are completely covered so that no rain could touch our equipment. We also need a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

As we are a tribute act we typically play just from our repertoire, however the client is welcome to choose from this list.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Soulful and full of energy!
