My name is Jess Orestano and I am based in Northamptonshire.
I have been playing the guitar for 20 years and singing for as long as I can remember! My favourite style to play is finger-picking but I cover a wide variety of songs from all through the ages, both chilled and upbeat, which you can find a selection of below.
As well as being a professional performer, I also have a degree in Music Technology, a masters in Audio Engineering and 10+ years of experience sound engineering, including a stage at Glastonbury festival, so you can guarantee that the sound will be as good as the performance :)
I provide my own small but might PA in the way of a Bose S1 Pro Plus (which can be battery operated too) so I can fit in tiny venues as well as having a robust enough sound for larger venues. I also have public liability insurance and all of my equipment is PAT tested.

I have 10+ years of live gigging experience and am very professional and competent.

My performance influences range from jazz astists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Etta James to folk artists such as Joni Mitchell, Eva Cassidy, Don McLean, Cat Stevens to more modern artists such as Norah Jones, Olivia Dean, Laura Marling and many more!
I have been singing since age 4 and performing live since I was 15, starting at local open mic nights. I am both classically trained and trained in music technology too with a BA and an MSc in the fields.
Weddings, every time! The atmosphere, the joy, the outfits, the food, the LOVE! I love all of it and I never take for granted being asked to play at a wedding, it is a priviliege.

Yes, as long as I am covered so my equipment isn't damaged. I have a small battery operated PA but may require power.
I always welcome repertoire selections from my clients so they can have a unique and enjoyable experience. My whole repertoire is availble for you to select from. For wedding ceremonies, I also include learning three songs of your choice for the aisle, register signing and exit.
