Hi, I am Jo. I am a highly experience public performer bringing a wide range of music to venues such as, restuarants, hotels, pubs, social clubs, festivals & weddings. I am able to bring a special professional addition to your private function or wedding. I have an extensive repetiore spanning the decades from 1940's to the present day. I have a unique voice bringing warmth & vitality to any event. Working from my ipad enables me to read my audience and adjust my set list to suit the mood. So if you are looking for a smooth laid back vibe or an energised party atomosphere I can deliver.
My musical repatiore covers many genres Jazz, Swing, Motown, Soul, County, soft Rock, Pop & acoustic classics.
I also sing as 'Retro Rita' (see listing) for a more stylised performance with costume to suit the song set. For reviews & additional recordings please see Retro Rita.

I have been privileged to sing at many events & for organisations. I couldn’t possibly have a favourite!
I love Motown & Soul music but love to sing all types of music
I am a trained vocalist with many years experience. I have been singing as 'Retro Rita' for the last 14 years specializing in themed entertainment, in pubs, social clubs, care homes & festivals. I have recently decided to sing as myself after many requests from various venues to do so.
I love singing at most events but I particularly enjoy a 'Sunday Session' singing popular songs in a relaxed social setting. Also love a good celebration, Weddings or birthdays!
I normally arrive 30-45 minutes before the performance time.
