We couldn't have asked for a more wonderful violinist for our daughter's wedding . Kate was absolutely amazing from start to finish . Her beautiful music which w had chosen especially, created such a magical and emotional atmosphere. It really added something truly special to the day!

Kate was professional, friendly and so talented and sent recordings in advance to us to keep as a souvenir. We received so many lovely positive comments from our guests about how beautiful the music was.

Thank you so much Kate for making our daughter's wedding so memorable and we would highly recommend you to anyone looking for a talented and professional violinist for their special occasion.

You fitted in wonderfully with my 80th birthday Scottish themed family party and had everyone dancing and singing away ! Whatever I suggested you came up with music to fit .
You made my 80th Birthday party one for all the family to remember and it was tremendous joy to see all my grandchildren dancing around and singing along and enjoying themselves
The music really added so much to the Scottish themed party !

Kate is a wonderful violinist and made my wife and I very happy on our wedding day. She interacted so well with the guest and was a wonderful induction as we entered the reception as bride and groom.

Cannot recommend Kate enough, Kate is extremely warm and friendly. She played beautifully at our wedding ceremony and drinks reception.
She adapted the song we wanted and even sent us a recording as a memento.
Weaving in and around guests at the reception made a really special atmosphere.

What can I say , other than incredible!

From the off, Kate’ s attentive and responsiveness was brilliant. As we drew closer to the day we had a lovely meeting where Kate had taken the liberty of recording the aisle song so that my wife could decide on the timings for the bridemaids and herself to walk down to her chosen song.

On the day, Kate was as per the title, the songs were perfect, timings and position all brilliant. Both aisle and signing. For the reception drinks all of our guests commented on how interactive and brilliant the playing was. Even a special song was played for my mother and father in law to dance to their favourite song.

I would whole heartedly recommend Kate, incredibly kind, wonderfully talented and just an all out legend in my eyes who really made our day so special!

Kate , it was wonderful and we will never forget this moment in our entire life. You were amazing and your rendition of ' Birds of a Feather" was perfect for my wedding proposal to Alice at the Bodleian Library Oxford in Dec 2024.

Asking Kate to play at our wedding was definitely the right choice. Not only did she play the piece we had selected beautifully but when the signing of the register took longer than anticipated she improvised with some traditional Irish tunes, pitching her performance perfectly for a wedding that merged English and Irish traditions.

Kate was very amenable, willing to play either outside or inside. The last minute venue change to inside a barn did not phase her.
She is v talented and was able to read the room, playing a wide variety of classical and modern tunes, ensuring there was something for all guests which brought a great energy and something unique and special for our wedding. Thank you Kate!

Kate played for our wedding ceremony at All Saints Church Strelley Village and during our reception at Swancar Farm Country House on 30/8/2014.

Kate delivered a perfect performance at the church and also during our reception. I was honored to have Kate play at our Wedding especially as I had previously had violin lessons with her.

During our reception Kate mingled casually amongst the tables taking requests from our guests without being imposing. You knew where Kate was because you could hear the music of Angels coming from her direction. Kate has the fantastic aptitude that she does not need music notes to play. She can listen to a piece of music that she hasn’t heard before (eg: like she did with Ukrainian music for us) and just play it. Kate is an absolutely brilliant and talented musician. I recommend Kate 100% . You will be ecstatic with her performance.

Kate exudes musicality from every pore. From classical to ceilidh, she brings joy to every musical occasion. Highly recommended.

We're not overcooking it in saying that Kate helped to make our wedding truly magical!!!!

She played soooo beautifully in the church and then walking through the carriages of our reception train on the Welsh Highland Railway.

She very thoughtfully remembered a couple of pieces we'd discussed (the theme from the Piano and Devil went down to Georgia by the Levellers) and surprised us with her stunning renditions.

Kate is such a beautiful, warm and kind hearted person ...and an incredible musician. We're smiling just thinking about her, her playing! and the special memories she created for us on our big day!

Everyone said how much they enjoyed the ceilidh band and the fiddle music and we had lots of fun , there's nothing like a good knees up!

Kate played wonderfully at our wedding at Waltons Hotel , Nottingham. Celtic music and classical music, whatever we asked she accommodated our requests and we could tell how much she enjoyed playing for us.

What's more, we invited Kate back 7 years later to play for us again at our home celebration to renew our vows and to remember that wonderful day.
