The set up is self contained however it is convenient to have access to to an electric power point and sufficient performance space that avoids busy access and exit areas and direct contact with the audience.

Yes, I provide a P.A. which varies in accordance with the size of the venue and number of people but no lighting rig.

I need to know any directions that will help me find the venue and find the right place to load and park. It would be helpful to know of the nature of the event, the best place to set up and the number of people expected. If it is an outdoor event, if there is shelter from the elements such as rain and heat.I normally gauge my set list to the requirements of the customer and I am also open to some new song request outside the designated set list consisting no more than three songs.

Yes, I can provide iPod/DJ services before and between my sets.However, at such times when the customer has hired a separate DJ with P.A., it is helpful to explore the possibilities of connecting to the DJ's P.A. to ensure consistency of sound quality. Overall, I am happy to play my own music or the customer can play their own music via spotify through my equipment.

Throughout my career as a musician, I have played in several groups however the best gig that stands out, was when I played in a band that performed at the Princes Trust in Swaziland which featured Eric Clapton and Joan Armatrading.
During the 90's, I had my own band called Double Vision that was signed to the Acid Jazz Label whom performed at the Jazz Cafe in Camden on three occasions.

I have been influence by several artist mainly from the Soul, Jazz Funk scene. I also pride myself on being able to learn tunes outside my influences such as David Bowie, Fleetwood Mac, the Beatles etc. I have learned throughout my career that music is very subjective and I have always tried to remain opened minded which has helped me to establish a broad repertoire of songs enabling me to respond to a diversity of music tastes, styles and genres.

I grew up listening to some great songs and it was this aspect that influenced me in learning an instrument. I was quite fortunate in my early 20's to have joined a professional working band that toured both Europe and Africa. I formed my own Jazz Funk band in the early 90's that also toured the UK and Europe and also recorded an album on the Acid Jazz Label. I now prefer to play solo with my own self contained set up performing songs that are popular with my audience that I love playing.

I decided to go solo in order to sustain a career in music. I played numerous outdoor events which includes weddings, Corporate functions, all types of Parties and Funerals. My favourite events are weddings as I like being part of someones' special occasion and making memorable moments. Having many years experience, I am familiar with songs that get the audience on their feet dancing. I also enjoy playing more intimate moments blending in with the atmosphere of the occasion.

In-door and out-door battery operated P.A. to cater for an audience of up to 200 people. Songs are streamed and amplified through the P.A. which consists of an eclectic repertoire of popular Soul Jazz funk and Latin tunes which serve as backing tracks for Tenor Saxophone.
The set consists of a 2/3 hour set with a 20 minute break in between.

I love performing outside when the weather is warm and sunny. I enjoy creating a party atmosphere as well as performing at memorials. For example, I performed on Hove beach for Chris Eubanks' Nephew who passed away. (See video above). I have also performed at funerals where I have played as part of a coordinated procession.

I have a set repertoire which I share with the potential client who have expressed an interest and I am also open to learning and performing songs requested by the client. I played at a wedding where I was asked to perform with other musicians that I'd never met before that required me to learn 4 songs. In the main, I will agree to perform a song as long as I can obtain the backing track. I also allow clients to select the songs that they like to be played from my broad setlist.

I have always received positive feedback in respect of my performances( see my review section). My forte is to be able to play at the time and place that the client has requested. For example, I have played on a hill top where guests had their own ritual as well as at outdoor weddings. Having a Blue Tooth Speaker and wireless microphone, I can set up and play anywhere at any time weather permitting.
