We are a group of mostly ladies that meet every Tuesday afternoon at Oldland Common. Today Lizzy Hart agreed to come along to entertain us for an hour. Her choice of music was perfect, the sound she made on the harp was exquisite and her voice was a joy to listen too. Everyone of the thirty members commented on what a gentle, tranquil experience and are already asking when Lizzy can come along again. Thank you Lizzy.

Lizzy really gave our day some extra wow factor. Everyone said how beautiful the harp was at our wedding ceremony and it truly made my walk down the aisle magical. We didn’t get a chance to speak to Lizzy during the wedding as it was a very quick turn around (we only had her for the ceremony) but we really appreciated her making the effort last minute and was able to play everything we asked for 🥰.

Lizzie performed at our wedding during the ceremony and wedding breakfast and played the harp beautifully.

I was stood at the altar as my wife walked down the aisle while Lizzie performed and it is a memory I will treasure forever.

The song she played wasn’t in her repertoire but she learnt it in such a short space of time and played it flawlessly. It’s an incredible talent and we are both so glad we could have her perform for us.

We had a mix of songs during the wedding breakfast that were played ambiently in the background. Everyone enjoyed trying to figure out each song without the lyrics being sung!

Lizzie also allowed us to use her microphone for the speeches as the venue’s one had feedback. Gestures like this that go a long way and we really appreciated the kindness and consideration.

Afternoon tea at Leigh Court last weekend was exquisite. Perfect venue for such an experience and all who made it happen were amazing. A very special mention to Lizzie, the harpist, who created such a wonderful ambience to make the whole occasion magical. Thank you, your talent is incredible

I contacted Lizzy at relatively short notice to play harp at my wedding, as a surprise for my wife. Not only did Lizzy move around dates to accommodate, she was also great with information that really helped me make a quick decision.

Lizzy was great leading up to the wedding and on the day, accompanied my son (Violin) with a duet on my wife's isle walk, which will live long in everyone's memories and I know I speak for my son with the ease he felt playing alongside Lizzy.

Lizzy provided an enormous repertoire of music for us to choose from for her 45-minute set. Her performance was spellbinding and kept the attention of all the diners. She was prepared to answer questions about her instrument from the diners both before and during the performance and demonstrated her theoretical musical knowledge well. Lizzy clearly has a good deal of experience in this type of performance and her arrival and set-up were very efficient.

Lizzy responded promptly to our last minute request, communication was excellent and she completely fulfilled the brief, even though we wanted something she was unfamiliar with. She even offered to supply a recording as a keepsake. She is extremely talented, she plays and sings beautifully. I would not hesitate to recommend her.

Lizzy played at our wedding and she was brilliant - I would highly recommend her. The music that I heard Lizzy play during the ceremony was perfect - she filled the lengths of time required with such professionalism. I also received many compliments from our guests about the music that Lizzy played as they were entering and leaving the venue. I only wish I could have heard more!

Lizzy played beautifully and timed the music so well for when people were walking down the aisle to ensure there were no gaps. She also played during our drinks reception whilst guests had canapés & drinks which sounded beautiful in the background. The build up to the wedding she was also great, she emailed me on the process of picking out songs and the song I chose to walk down the aisle to wasn't actually on her music list but when I enquired with her she said she was able to do it for me. Highly recommend.

The responsibility of finding a soloist at short notice to sing at the funeral of a very dear friend was somewhat daunting. It was a difficult time but you showed great understanding and sensitivity. Thank you for your beautiful rendition of Panis Angelicus and Ave Maria which my friend had specifically requested before she died. You showed great empathy throughout the Service, unobtrusively waiting for the moment to sing. Thank you for fulfilling my friend's wishes so perfectly. There has always been a good jazz scene in Southampton. At present time it's very exciting due to the strength of the young musicians.One multi - talented player is Lizzy Bennie, she acquits herself to the highest levels with her vocals and sax playing. A real highlight is Lizzy playing Harp and vocalising as a very recent concert for Southampton Mencap proved . Both music and the rapport with the audience were very high indeed. I feel I could book this young lady into any jazz or associated music situation, a great talent for now and a jazzy future!

Lizzy played at our son’s wedding a few days ago and it was absolutely fabulous. Hearing the harp music whilst waiting for the bride and again as the ceremony concluded added a real elegant touch to the day. My son and new wife particularly liked it when Lizzy played their special song as the ceremony was coming to a close. A special mention to the fact that we had to postpone the wedding by a whole year due to Covid restrictions but everything ran smoothly despite that. We booked Lizzy for our wedding reception. She was extremely friendly and professional. We had a good chat discussing playlist options. She also went out of her way to bring some mini harps for people to take selfies if anyone wanted any. The music was amazing and even better in person. A lot of guests complimented us personally about how good she was and found it to be a pleasant surprise. We thought it was a really good touch to set a calm but warm atmosphere and she got it spot in. She also enquired about our theme colours so she could match. It’s details like that which make us value her service. We highly recommend her and will use her again if another opportunity came up.
