I have played at venues that hold 400 to 500 people with bands and solo my best was probably my first gig as a solo artist where I played a decent sized venue on a big stage in gloucester and performed a Music of Manchester solo set to a very decent crowd

I was a teenager in the 90s so britpop was my Introduction into music. I picked up a guitar after watching Noel Gallagher perform a solo acoustic gig and have not looked back really. Although I started with the britpop scene my general music tastes is quite varied and will listen to anything from classical to mildy heavy rock (not heavy metal ! ). I do love the oldies with Frank sinatra and the rat pack being a bit of a favourite although I can easily go from that to nirvana and get the same enjoyment.

I literally watched a Noel Gallagher acoustic gig and decided I want to that and that was about 15 years ago. Bought myself a guitar had a few lessons and taught myself the rest. Starting gigging as a rhythm guitarist in a 1 band then 2 bands until I decided to take the front man role and add vocals and now front a britpop band and perform solo gigs on a regular basis

I just love to play and to bring enjoyment to an audience. If I had to choose one particular gig I would have to say festivals I love that vibe and being part of the event with other musicians. Private gigs can equally be great that feeling of making someone's bday wedding etc special but generally I just love to perform

Generally would arrive 2 hours before to set up make sure everything is all working etc and then have myself a bit of time to prepare.
2x 45mins or 2x 60mins is most popular but i can fit in to whatever is needed.

Yes outside is great all I ask for is a cover to protect myself and equipment from the weather

I have a basic set but if you would like something in particular I would ask for some advance notice to do some research and rehearse the chosen songs. I would also do my best to cater for any requests on the evening etc

I have had some customers from quiet afternoon style sessions where they have enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Also had some interesting pub evenings with the drinkers where they enjoyed me upping the tempo and having a good singalong

Yes absolutely with enough notice I can learn songs to fit an event
