Martin played at my son's wedding in August 2018. The music he played was lovely. It made the wedding reception meal very relaxing. Wished he could have played into the Eveing .You won't be disappointed. Brilliant musician

I cannot recommend Martin enough. In fact, he should be a compulsory element to every wedding! Martin accompanied our wedding breakfast and created the ideal, relaxed atmosphere required for this part of our celebrations. As Martin has a huge repetoire on his website, it was easy to select our playlist: the only difficulty was trying to narrow our choices down. All email exchanges were instantaneous which put us at significant ease during the build up before our wedding. Martin can only be described as a professional who goes above and beyond to make sure his customers have the perfect event. During our evening reception, the majority of our guests said that Martin was a highlight of the day: my wife and I cannot agree more! Thank you so much! Mr and Mrs Latham x

Martin played at our wedding on the 6th of July , he played as I walked down the isle & also in the gardens after, he truly made our day special, the atmosphere he created with his music was unforgettable & we thank you so much , you truly are talented.

Martin played at our drinks reception. He was easy to book and very professional. Had regular contact leading up to the wedding. He was set up and ready to play in the right place at the right time. We asked for some specfic songs (disney) and he obliged. Book Martin for your event and you wont be disappointed.

Martin did us proud on a very hot spring day. He played a great variety of music and many of our guests made comment as to how much they had enjoyed listening outside on the terrace and the background he created during the meal.
We would highly recommend Martin for any function where you require some good saxophone play.

Martin played two separate sessions at our wedding day on 23rd March 2018 and was incredible. So many of our guests have said how fabulous the live music was since the wedding day and said how brilliant the atmosphere was due to the live sax! Martin is very responsive to messages and was extremely professional on the day and really made a huge difference to our day. We selected some songs of a playlist and somehow Martin squeezed them all in, he even learnt a new song for us that we requested especially. I cannot recommend him enough as a live musician for your wedding day!

Very professional from start to finish.
Not having had to organise anything like this before, this was a surprise for our daughter and her new husband as background music for the receiving of guests at their wedding in a marquee in March.

Simply put, Professional, superb, romantic & classy....... Martin performed at our wedding on 23rd December 2017 at Rufford Mill.

From day one Martin has been so efficient in his communications, and made some excellent suggestions (after all he is a professional!!)

Martin played some tunes whilst the guests were being seated for the ceremony, he then played "I will always love you" whilst my bridesmaids walked down the isle and followed by myself and my father.

Martin continued to play whilst we signed the register/for photos... and then when we exited the ceremony.

Onto the wedding breakfast! After the speeches, Martin played throughout our wedding breakfast... he also threw some Christmas songs into the mix which went down really well with it being Christmas.

Early Evening - What a lovely way to greet the evening guests! Martin played for the arrival of any evening guests...... I couldn't help myself and even had a dance.
To say the least, we loved him but our guests adored him – I have had so many messages of praise… If myself and now husband didn’t look so good, I think Martin could easily have taken the limelight (haha!)

If you have the opportunity, I fully recommend that you book Martin for your ceremony, wedding breakfast and early evening - you will not be disappointed. However, if you only book him for part day, you will be disappointed in not having him for longer.

I am sure this will not be the last time we hear Martin play and cannot wait for the next time.

Martin made our wedding day so special with his beautiful renditions of classics such as Moon River and Sittin' On The Dock of The Bay to name but a few of our wedding song choices. He was great from initial email to the end. We would highly recommend him, and he was also fantastic at my bridesmaid's wedding last year too.

Thank you so much for playing at our wedding on the 2nd September 2017. Everyone loved the music, especially my gran who you were able to fit in a request for! It was great being able to choose some of the songs we wanted and then you being able to blend them with other tracks that fitted in so well.

Martin gave a polished and varied performance which provided a backdrop and talking point for our lovely relaxed afternoon. He is clearly an accomplished musician and has a wide range of styles.

We also booked Martin at the last minute from my sunbed in the Dominican Republic following my daughter's wedding the day before where they had a sax player who everyone loved. So I thought I would search for a sax player for Aimi and Robs celebration when we got home as a surprise. Martin was available and I booked him this turned out to be a great hit with all the guests. Martin was absolutely fabulous he played all the music that we requested and I would definitely recommend him for your celebrations.

What a fantastic musician Martin is! He played as a surprise for my husband at our wedding during the wedding breakfast and he was amazing, better than I ever expected. All my guests commented on how incredible he sounded and such a perfect choice of songs which Martin chose himself as I was unsure, they were all very classy and recognisable. During the breakfast we had a family member that had a turn for the worse and was taken away in an ambulance and Martin carried on playing which was great as all the guests were none the wiser to what was happening. He is so professional and friendly, a real great guy!

Martin played at a special birthday celebration for my sisters. He was fantastic from the first contact to the evening where he played a fabulous range of music on his Saxophone, including adding Careless Whispers to his repertoire as requested prior to the event. Martin brought all the equipment, set up early ready for everyone to arrive. He couldn't have been more helpful & I would have no hesitation in using him again or recommending him. Martin played at an awards event I organised last year. I booked him again for this year’s awards as we were impressed with his extensive set list, equipment and adaptability. Once again Martin was more than happy to move his equipment from the drinks reception into the main event area. He played a great selection of songs and also had some funky new lights which we liked! Again I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Martin played for 4 hours fantastic sets, is very professional and understood the brief exactly. The music was very relaxing and just right for the event and venue. Martin arrives early and takes time to get the sound adjusted for the venue and adjust the music schedule to the event.. He is very very highly recommended, especially if you want a person to just take care of music with the least amount of effort and supervision. Well done Martin.

I booked Martin to play at a corporate awards dinner we held at the Park Plaza hotel in Leeds. I was impressed with the reviews I had read about Martin and also his extensive set list. Martin was great and was more than happy to move his equipment midway into the evening from the bar area where the drinks reception had taken place up to the main room where the dinner was being held. We had originally instructed Martin to play contemporary songs however it became apparent this style wasn't working during the drinks reception so Martin was more than happy to change the set list at the last minute to music that seemed better suited to the audience. Martin played some great songs and I would have no hesitation in recommending him for an event.

Martin came and played for the 'drinks reception' for 100 guests at my birthday party. His repertoire, saxophone playing and backing music all provided the perfect start to my party and got everyone in the mood before dinner! This was the second time I had heard him play, (having heard him earlier in the Summer at a friend's Party) when I had really enjoyed his music. He arrived before the designated time, set up in minutes and was really flexible about playing inside or out depending on the weather. In the event he played outside as a perfect pink sunset filled the sky. Thank you Martin for providing a relaxed musical backdrop.

He played three sets which varied accordingly tailored to our requests. Pre-ceremony/post ceremony, during the wedding breakfast and for the arrival of the evening guests. Martin played at our Wedding party in our garden. He was great! Well organised before hand and easy to deal with. He bought his own PA and just needed some electricity and a dry place. The music Martin played was suitable for the occasion and he'd added music of our choice to his repertoire. Martin was able to respond to requests. There was lots of positive comment from our quests and we were told that people waiting at the nearby bus stop were tapping their feet. Martin was an excellent addition to our day and so much cooler than a conventional DJ.

I hired martin for my friends 60th party near malton. Martin came all the way from the Bradford area. All correspondence with him before the event was clear and good. Although I was poorly the evening of the party I,m told everyone thought he was great. The choice of music was good (we left it to martin to choose what he wanted to play) I have seen some of the footage my hubby took on his mobile and it was great. Martin played last night at our VIP relaunch party after a £2 million refurb & extension. He was absolutely fantastic & professional throughout. The sounds of the sax added such a great dimension to the evening & really gave a sophisticated party vibe. All our guests were very impressed & without a doubt Martin is a very talented player. I recently made my sister a ladies afternoon tea party at home which Martin played at. First and foremost, when I got in touch with Martin from this website he was so professional and very personable. (I was the typical client, asking a million questions, before he had time to answer). Martin played during the reception drinks at our Wedding on the 23rd August 2013. I cannot recommend him highly enough! The playlist he sent through was extensive and we were able to choose a selection of our favourites in advance which he played on the day. We had a number of comments from our guests who said that the music added greatly to the atmosphere, particularly as we were fortunate enough to have good weather meaning the reception was held in the gardens of our venue.
