We booked Martin to celebrate our special joint 60th celebrations with our family in a beautiful house in Giggleswick. Martin did not disappoint as he certainly knows how to play great saxophone. Martin played our eclectic playlist faultlessly. There were 14 of us and our age ranged from 6 to 64 and everyone had a brilliant night including our two dogs. Martin arrived early to set up, was very professional and we would highly recommend him as a great saxaphone player. Thank you Martin.

Martin played at our wedding on the 3/8/24. He played for the ceremony and for the drinks afterwards which were lucky enough to have outside in the glorious sunshine.  I asked him if could learn a song that was special to me and my family that my late uncle played on repeat when we were all growing up (dire straits walk of life) which he played and made us all smile.

I would absolutely recommend Martin.  He definitely helped make our day perfect.

Huge thanks to Martin for playing our reception drinks/ welcome for our wedding on 23.9.23 at Danby Castle Barn, in the North York Moors. It was hit and miss regarding it we were going to be able to play outside due to the weather but Martin was adaptable and made my wishes come true to play outside which really made the day / allowed us to enjoy the views. Martin played an array of genres which entertained all of our guests. We had extremely positive feedback from everyone in attendance and we will definitely be using Martin again! Martin was amazing from start to finish. We needed a saxophone player really short notice for a work event and Martin responded straight away. He was willing to travel form Yorkshire to Newcastle with just 2 days' notice. He even could play the song we requested, a Geordie favourite 'Local Hero'. Our client enjoyed it so much he got emotional, as he said it took him back to his childhood when his father used to take him to St James' Park for the Newcastle matches.

Martin was very easy to work with and communicate with leading up to our wedding. Martin played during our wedding breakfast in June 2022. We came across Martin as he was playing at a wedding when we had been to visit a different venue and we loved the idea of a saxophonist during the meal. Martin's repertoire is varied and covers so many different genres that there is plenty of choice. However he also takes requests in advance, which my father-in-law appreciated as I had requested Annie's Song - otherwise known as Sheffield United's Greasy Chip Butty song. All the guests loved the music and Martin received standing ovations to individual songs and at the end of his performance. Martin really added something special to top off our amazing day. Would highly recommend!

He played throughout the wedding breakfast and then an hour as our evening guests arrived. To have live music through our meal was so special and I 100% recommend it to anyone considering having Martin play. Our grandad said it was the first time in his life he had heard live music at a wedding and he has so many compliments for Martin. Our guests loved arriving to the saxophone playing, they loved it.   Some guests even asked for Martins card as they loved him that much!

One of my favourite moments of the day was taking a moment to myself as my evening guests arrived and listening to Martin play, he played im yours by Jason Mraz, and little did he know it’s one of my favourite songs which made it even more special! We had to arrange our wedding twice due to covid and Martin so helpful and lovely each time and we were so lucky he was available on our final date!

I booked Martin as a surprise for my mums wedding guests. I looked at his sample music and loved how he played. On the day he arrived early and set up quickly which was amazing for our event. Martin played so well and the guests were very pleased with the music. I chose my own playlist as I know what my mum and stepdad like and the guests approved too. Martin was so easy to contact and very reliable. We are so pleased with how Martin filled the gap in our day like we wanted. We finally got our big day! Martin has been amazing from 2.5 years ago when we originally booked him right up until our big day yesterday. He has changed dates twice with no problems (due to covid) and when he played yesterday he was out of this world. The whole wedding was made so much more special by having a sax playing what we had canapés and photos, the guests were kept well entertained by a large range of music and everyone commented and complemented Martin, couldn't recommend highly enough. I attended a wedding he played at and honestly there was never a miss - Great mix of all genres and lovely background music, really helped create a great atmosphere for the day!

Martin was absolutely amazing and we would highly recommend him to anyone! It was so special to walk up to our arrival drinks just after our ceremony and hear the sax playing on the terrace as we arrived – it really added to the atmosphere and made it feel perfect and movie like! We got married in July 2021 at The Principal Hotel in York and we booked Martin for our arrival drinks outside on the terrace and then to play during our wedding breakfast too. We booked quite late notice, since we had to change our date 3 times due to COVID and were not sure what restrictions would allow. Martin agreed to take the date at late notice and was incredibly friendly and helpful in the lead up as well! The music was amazing and created a perfect vibe for the welcome drinks out on the terrace and background music for the wedding breakfast. I would be amiss to not also comment on how so many of our guests came up to us and raved about how amazing he was! One table were dancing in their seats for most of the wedding breakfast as they were enjoying the music so much! Martin also stayed longer than scheduled to ensure we had the perfect day – he was so so friendly and really added so much to our day and helped make it absolutely unforgettable! He also helped us so much with technical issues we had – our best man caught COVID the day before the wedding and so we set up a very last-minute screen so that he could give his speech via zoom. He offered to let us use his speaker system to connect to our laptop and helped to set this up! Without Martin I do not think everyone would have been able to hear the speech, but thanks to him everyone heard and enjoyed the speech! I would very highly recommend Martin – he is a really lovely person, very professional and extremely talented! He really helped in making the day special and also helping to make the day run smoothly!

Martin played his saxophone so beautifully at our sons wedding on Saturday. We needed someone to play the saxophone as guests arrived at the ceremony and to calm our sons nerves as he waited with his best man for his bride to arrive. Martin played at the drinks reception at our wedding, he was fantastic, he played a wide selection of music,modern and classical and was very professional as well as being friendly an sociable would highly recommend him thanks Martin.

Martin played at my daughters wedding reception. Guests were just arriving for drinks prior to sitting for the main wedding dinner. The atmosphere was fantastic, the music absolutely brilliant, the place was buzzing. Martin is a real pro, so talented. We would absolutely recommend him.
