Mic'd Up requires a safe, dry and level performance area, ideally measuring approximately 4m x 3m for our four-piece band, although we can adapt to smaller spaces where practical.

We require access to at least two suitable, safely positioned 13-amp mains sockets, with adequate electrical capacity for our equipment.

Please allow approximately 90 minutes before the performance for unloading, setup and soundcheck.

As three band members drive and we transport our own instruments and equipment, we may require parking for two or three vehicles, preferably close to the loading entrance.

For outdoor performances, suitable weatherproof cover and safe electrical facilities are essential.

Mic'd Up can provide our own instruments, microphones and PA equipment for suitable small to medium-sized venues, allowing us to offer a convenient live music package.

Sound requirements are assessed individually depending on the venue size, audience numbers and performance space.

For larger venues, weddings and corporate events, we can arrange additional PA equipment, sound engineering or lighting may be required. These arrangements can be discussed and included in a tailored quotation.

We are also happy to work with an existing in-house PA system or professional sound engineer where available.

To help everything run smoothly, we kindly ask for the venue's full address, event contact details, performance times and expected audience numbers.

We would also appreciate information about the available performance space, electrical supply, parking arrangements and loading access, including any stairs or restrictions when transporting equipment.

Please let us know whether the venue has an existing PA system, sound engineer or lighting facilities, and whether there are any sound limiters, noise restrictions or curfews.

For outdoor events, we require details of the covered performance area and arrangements in case of adverse weather.

Yes! We can arrange suitable background music or a pre-prepared playlist before and between our live sets, subject to the venue's sound system and agreed timings.

We're happy to discuss musical preferences with the client to help maintain the atmosphere throughout the event.
