Matthew was an outstanding organist and pianist at our wedding.
He played the pieces as requested during the ceremony beautifully and exactly as expected with timings working perfectly.
His coffee shop jazz during the wedding breakfast was again just right and fit our requested tone superbly.
He was very communicative, and even let us know of an injury to his hand the day before. He showed admiral perseverance by playing the pieces anyway despite this injury, and no-one would have noticed at all. We thank him immensely for his efforts and highly recommend him for anyone searching for an organist/pianist at their events.

Matthew was the perfect professional for our wedding. We had been let down at short notice (2 days!), and I was worried that our particular choices of music for the ceremony would not be possible as 2 of them were rather 'obscure'. However, Matthew was not at all phased by it - he said that he'd either find the sheet music or work it out by ear for us - and he did! In just 2 days! My husband and I were thrilled, and so were our guests as he played a lot of their requests during the drinks reception, pretty much non-stop. Beautiful playing - Excellent Playing! Matthew played a great set at our wedding. We were late in hiring him as we weren't sure what the rules would be for COVID weddings; he went to a lot of trouble for us. We gave him some specific tunes that we wanted only the night before, and he played them beautifully. I can't thank him enough for making our small but special day even better with great live music. Matthew played our wedding (after some of the restrictions were lifted) and he couldn't have been a better choice of pianist! He was very accommodating and understanding as we had to change times and dates a lot(!); he played an incredible range of music including modern and some older tunes for our older relatives. We gave him a huge list of titles we liked, and we were amazed that he played ALL of them, and so beautifully too. A really professional and lovely guy, and a brilliant player! We will be recommending him to anyone who asks if we know of a pianist! Thank You SO MUCH! x

Fantastic, Matthew played the hymns on the organ beautifully, and there were a few last minute changes, which Matthew took in his stride without missing a beat!

Having heard Matthew play for ballroom and sequence dancing many times, I hired him to play such music for my wife's surprise birthday party. In addition to that, I asked if he could do some "background" music whilst guests arrived and during the buffet. All of the music was to Matthew's usual high standard - but what really surprised us all, was when my wife asked him to sing "Bring Him Home" from Les Mis. I knew Matthew could sing (as he did during the dance sessions) but my goodness - WHAT A VOICE! A stunning performance! He then did an impromptu "musical theatre" show for about 30 minutes and we were all thrilled to bits with his voice (he's kept that hidden!!). He then returned to his multi-keyboards and continued with the dance with great music and songs. Thank you, Matthew, for a SUPERB night!

Earlier this year we had a call from the musician we had booked for the drinks reception at our wedding who had to cancel due to illness. Thanks to this site, we found Matthew - and we were so pleased we found him! We asked him if he could do a piano-vocal set for about 2 hours of "rat pack" music including 3 songs we specifically wanted - he took the trouble to learn the lyrics to one of the songs with only a few weeks to go and he did a great job!

Two days before our wedding our church organist called in sick - I remembered from his profile that Matthew was also an organist. Given the short notice I told him that I would be happy with the 2 traditional wedding marches, as our choices of entry and exit music was the usual sort of choice for a church organ. He asked what we originally wanted and he said he would see what he could do or play the wedding marches. So you can imagine how happy I was when I heard him play the organ for the first time - our original choices!! I found out that he went to the trouble of buying one piece of music, and worked out the other by listening to it on YouTube.

All the guests loved his music and singing at the church and reception. On top of all that he is such a lovely person (my niece and nephew asked him if he could play some Disney and he did and they kept asking him questions about how the organ worked in church and he took time to talk to them about it - and my nan took a shine to him too!) Next year my mum and dad are having their 30th anniversary and have booked Matthew again. I am really looking forward to that
