I will happily create a Spotify playlist for you, but you would need to hire the sound system, which I can connect to my phone or computer

There are 3 career highlights I cannot choose between. 1) Singing as the soloist, live for The Queen’s 90th Birthday River Pageant, aboard HMS Havengore.

2) Performing at The Royal Opera House, as principal in an opera! It was a dream come true. I have continued to work with this company, as well as with all the major UK houses and many in Europe.

3) Making a children’s comedy-drama film for Sky Arts and English National Opera, streamable on Now TV entitled “Abracadopera”. In Mozart’s famous role of Queen of the Night.

I love listening to Maria Callas, Julie Andrews, Joan Sutherland, Diana Ross. These artists have helped to shape my musical passions and identity.

I have been in the industry since I was 11- starting as an adolescent opera singer and in West End Musicals, before completing my formal training at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. There I obtained First Class BMus and MMus with Distinction. I continued to perform professionally alongside my studies, and in the 10 years or so since, have established myself as a leading soprano in the UK. I sing at the major opera houses, as well in Oratorio concerts, Lieder and Song Concerts, have several recordings on Spotify and disc. I also perform at weddings, funerals, private parties, pop up events, corporate events. I love my varied career across many vocal genres

It’s really hard to choose, but I really love singing for memorials. This may sound strange/morbid, but there is no greater honour, than to be chosen to honour someone’s loved one and dedicate music to them. It is a blessing to offer comfort through my singing.

In complete contrast, singing at pop up events, as an unexpected guest is great fun! I love to see people’s faces when I start singing. Whether I’ve been disguised as a waitress, a guest at the event, or simply pop up out of nowhere.

Normally events would be evenings and weekends, according to the artist's availability and commitments. Events usually incorporate travelling distance. For opera and musical theatre settings, music of no more than an hour in length is normal.

I can perform outside, as long as we have a conversation about the acoustics and potential need for microphone hire/amplification. Additionally, shelter and attention to weather forecasts and contingency plans.

I do have an extensive repertoire list, and it’s rare that anyone requests something I don’t have. Or indeed, something very similar to. But I am happy to learn new pieces if desired and where possible. This may slightly impact my fee, if I need to spend time learning from my home studio. So open and honest communication is key.

Previous customers would describe my performances as dynamic, versatile, engaging, uplifting and impeccably prepared and performed. They might also comment on the power and beauty of my sound (hopefully!). I have a breadth of knowledge of lots of repertoire- across many styles, genres and can also perform in many languages. They would also say that I am a kind, approachable and communicative person to deal with. I am also very self sufficient and easy going on the day!

I have a really powerful voice, as opera singers are self amplified! So when I am singing classical and opera (and the majority of older style musicals), you absolutely won’t need a microphone to hear me. Unless you do not value your hearing! I can sing over a large orchestra and fill the entire auditorium of huge concert halls and opera houses.
