Newland seekers played at my birthday party on 1/8 and were amazing ! Played great songs we all knew and took requests prior. Everyone was dancing and they were also lovely guys aswell. Thankyou for entertainment!!! 5*.

Thank you Newland Seekers for your fabulous performance at the weekend. There are very few bands who can tweak songs and perform them so that they are better than the originals. You guys certainly managed this. My daughter still can't believe that you turned King of the Swingers into a dance track. It was very impressive. You did a great job battling against the searing heat and the reverberating walls. Your audience outside in the cool air were tapping their feet to the music, which they all said they enjoyed very much. Thank you so much, I'll keep a look out for you at local music events and will come and say hello next time I see you performing

A fantastic band really gave our wedding day the perfect evening

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you and the band. My mum danced the night away which is just what I wanted. I thought you were absolutely fantastic and all of the guests commented that you were one of the best live bands they have ever seen... Thanks again you made the party perfect

I booked you because you looked & sounded good on the Web, but actually hearing you live is a superb, fantastic sound, loud with no distortion & I had to dance all night as you were so good. Special thanks for letting my Son David sing, & Grandson Tom play guitar on Johnny B Goode, this was a very emotional moment especially for all of my family. Hi Russ. A quick note to say we were delighted with The Newland Seekers at our joint 70th birthday party at the Bishops Palace in Wells last Saturday. We are renowned for our parties so you had a tough act to follow but, despite Nev's slight sore throat, you created a great atmosphere and everyone thought the music was fantastic. It was especially good for me as you kindly allowed me to run through a couple of songs in advance of the party so I could re-live my youth as an aged rocker. This made it special for me and I’d like to thank you all for accommodating me in such a welcoming fashion. Well done and I have no hesitation in recommending you for similar events. Absolutely fabulous evening with The Newland Seekers - everyone who came to our works dinner & dance loved this band (all ages from 18-80). Really amazing musicians (no backing tracks - real music!) On a personal note - extremely friendly people to deal with and very good communications. Also very flexible on timings - as the hotel we held our function at was very slow on the food service which delayed us getting onto the dancefloor, but the band were very patient waiting in the sidelines. From the minute they started playing the dance floor was packed and it stayed that way for the rest of the evening. Overall a brilliant evening of entertainment and we would most definitely recommend this band and we are so happy that we picked them.

Lovely professional guys. Great evening and even allowed my daughter get up and sing the song Crazy to her nan which they provided backing music for beforehand for her to practice. Highly recommended. Thankyou for a lovely evening x

What a brilliant choice of bands for the hall too. Not only were there many up dancing, adults and children alike, to songs that were familiar, but the sound level meant that those not participating were able to hold a decent conversation too. Thankyou Newland Seekers".

I booked Nev & Russ to perform at a mini festival I'd organised for my dad. They are such lovely guys, absolutely brilliant performers, and did an amazing job at getting the party started. They had also kindly learnt and performed one of my dad's favourite songs which I was really grateful for. Thanks so much for helping to make the day really special!

I booked Nev and Russ for a garden party held for friends and family after hearing them play locally. I was very happy with the show and so were my guests. Nev and Russ are always very entertaining and play a great mix of songs from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, with something for everyone. Highly recommended!”

We have had Nev and Russ play at the Boat Inn Penallt on several occasions. They play a great selection of music from the 60s onwards. The duo are favourites with our locals so we would very much recommend them for music nights and special occasions

These guys have a great repertoire that appeals to all ages and tastes. I have seen them perform on three occasions and every time they hit the spot - right music for the right venue and the right clientele. They're also really nice guys!

Brilliant duo, who I have seen twice. A very diverse list of tunes, and something for everyone. They are very accommodating and even allow ‘wanna be’ singers their chance!!!! A youngster gave a commendable performance of ‘Come Together’ with great encouragement from these two. I would totally recommend Nev and Russ.

Nev’n’Russ played last night at our village barbecue and kept us entertained with some lively music which was pleasing to all age groups. They have previously played in our small Village Room and toned it down to suit the venue, and have ramped it up for the garden of our local pub. Would thoroughly recommend

I booked Nev and Russ to perform at my birthday party, having seen them at a function. Their overall sound and their harmonies were wonderful and the selection of songs was age specific to the guests and completely appropriate for the occasion. I will definitely book them again and cannot recommend them highly enough

Nev and Russ are great in a pub, getting people singing along to songs from different decades that people know. They have a tight sound with two guitars and vocal harmonies. With just the two of them they can fit into a fairly small space. They also adapted really well to our family friendly early evening music night with lots of younger children and parents. They relate well to all ages, come across as friendly and just happy to be making music, which is infectious.
