Reviews of Nick Caruso

Invited Nick to play for our summer ball, beautiful evening that went too quickly for all of us. We had our formal dinner, then on time Nick opened the live music and we spent the entire evening working off the calories we had just eaten. I do have an aching back and feet today but well worth it, every time Nick does our events i promise myself not to overdo it but i like all else always does. As for Nick, you can tell he has care and pride on his performance and there are no lulls even when he does play the occasional slow song. It's mainly prefect songs for such an occasion, great banter with the crowd and even handled a slightly tipsy colleague that handed him her bra with much diplomacy, you had to see it to believe it ! Much thanks and see you in December for part 2 !

Astounding ! Each time Nick plays here for us our club is always full and all members have a great night. Whatever genre he is playing it is as good as it can get, i did note the variation in what Nick plays and sings. From "purple rain" to "roll over beethoven" or "heard it through the grapevine", we think we have seen it all then to come up with "baby jane", "jolene", "red red wine" and "ferry cross the mersey" and make it all knit somehow, he never ceases to amaze us with the versatility and it's a different show every time. I am happy to call Nick my friend as the years have rolled by, can't understand how he looks younger and younger and i'm old !!!

We asked when we made the booking for a full on party night and man oh man is that exactly what we got, i have no idea how he performs like that night after night but we were over the moon with the whole evening. We loved how he had a wireless guitar so when he did the Shadows and lead breaks he came off the stage to mingle with us on the dance floor. Amazing vocals which were crystal clear. We have re-booked another 3 shows this year, already looking forward to the next one as are the whole club.

Thought it was time to leave this for Nick, he has been playing here at our club since 1999, in all those years you would have thought the shows would be stale or predictable but as many on here have said, never are two shows the same, he may in fact make a point of changing things knowing it keeps the audience interested. Nick takes you through many genres, at times a fantastic crowd pleasing sing a long then off we head to the dance floor for wall to wall classics, did i mention he has some sublime guitar skills with a blemish free voice ? The feedback we get from our audience is always 10/10 and "when is he here next ?" I'm now starting to sound like one of his fan club so now have to stop !!! A well liked and respected man.

Hi to all, yes you heard it correct, my divorce party, free at last ! Ok where to start, i have known Nick for many years and have seen him do his thing many times so when it came to celebrating my new found freedom and a party was suggested by friends of mine, Nick was always going to be the only guy to play for all of us mad women, when i first mentioned my idea to Nick he did find it very amusing but agreed to put the icing on our evening. It was held in a hotel function suite, oddly enough where i had my wedding reception. He held his ground well and not intimidated by 100 crazy women and a few of my male friends, as per usual Nick played perfectly, beautiful voice and "lights out" guitar playing. Many pictures taken and he even invited me up onto his sacred stage which i have a few pics of. All in all a hugely perfect night, i know everyone on here says Nick is a true gent and has a great personality..........and it's 100% true.

I am thrilled to be leaving this review of our long standing friend Nick Caruso. We only hold about 250 people here and never a spare seat when Nick plays here. Faultless from the time he starts the show to the end, he does this "off the cuff" section at times when he picks up the acoustic guitar and we ask for requests, usually ends up a sing-a-long for us old enough to remember the words !!! Then whooooosh back into the full whistles and bells. I hope he still enjoys playing here as much as we love having him play for us. When on occasion we have a dinner and dance evening where it is more laid back he combines a great laid back show with some side-splitting stories where instead of tales of his successes etc he has us roaring with laughter at his stickier moments touring and performing. Never has Nick let us down with a booking, always punctual and we always keep him for longer than we should. The complete performer and true gentleman.

A firm favourite with everybody here, always fresh so we never know what is coming next, has an amazing knack for playing exactly what the audience wants. Nick has a really funny sense of humour so not just a talented singer and guitarist. We always book 4 shows a year with him, you have to book the Xmas show as it's just a party from start to finish, saying that we also love the summer shows, actually they are all perfect !!!!!!! I never usually leave feedback etc for anything but thought it a crime not to do so for the show Nick Caruso just provided for us. I own a fairly large company and after seeing Nick play a few times i approached him to play our event. We emailed back and forth as i am quite fussy and wanted things to run exactly right, i needed not to worry as Nick put my mind at ease on every occasion, he was very diplomatic and polite when he could've told me not to worry.
The show was scheduled to start at 8.30pm and right on the dot he came on stage and opened up a captivating first half with back to back non stop great songs to dance to. The second half really showed why he is so very revered, everything from classic Chuck Berry to some highly charged 80's rock then classic songs like Hotel California and Purple Rain, you cannot help but to just watch him show the guitar who is the boss, not a step wrong, not a bad note all night.
I will be using Nick for all our future events in the UK and abroad. Not many people surprise me but i can honestly say Nick did.

Nick has performed at our club on numerous occasions and is 100% every time he is here. A very diverse repertoire from the 1950's to the modern day but flows very well and never feels disjointed' Very quick witted and makes us laugh as well, a rare gem of not just a very talented singer and musician but also a very nice laid back man when talking to him. Thanks for the good times Nick and here's to many more.

We have been booking Nick over the last 12 years on Fridays and Sundays. He knows what we like and never fails to give our crowd what they enjoy, with me being a bit of an Elvis fan i make sure i get my quota in before he starts but also does the Motown songs for my friend too, very versatile and an absolute pleasure to deal with. The next morning i always ache from all the dancing so no need for the zumba !

Looking through the other reviews it strikes me that Nick is rather popular with everyone and everywhere, there we was thinking we was special LOL. Anyway, what else can i say apart from thoroughly professional, last time he played here he wasn't well at all but still somehow pulled off a great show, it just goes to show that even when unwell he won't let you down and still puts on a great show. Always has time to talk to everyone afterwards as well. We have Nick booked 3 more times this year, thanks.

We booked Nick for our wedding as we had seen him perform many times at various places including the Xmas party for my firm. Months before our wedding Nick came to our house to discuss how we wanted it to run and anything in particular we wanted to hear etc which i found a very nice personal touch. We had a large summer wedding with a huge outdoor marquee, he had an amazing stage set and lighting and the sound was second to none, he played many different genres of music to keep everyone happy, to say there was no space on the dance floor would be an under statement indeed. After our honeymoon we had friends round our house and they all agreed that Nick was extremely talented. Thanks again for playing for us, a treasured memory to go along with our big day.

I am pleased to leave a well deserved review for Nick Caruso. We have specialist nights at the club and booked Nick for his "tribute to the legends" show. A naturally gifted singer and guitarist but knows how to captivate a crowd with ease. The second time we booked Nick we asked for the Cliff and Shadows show which was so well anticipated that we had a list of people that wanted tickets but no room for them. On both occasions he was flawless. We have been lucky enough to secure Nick for New Years Eve this year so we are all looking forward to that.

Nick has been playing at our club since 2004 on our wednesday afternoons every 6 weeks and the occasional saturday night, very popular act. In his break he always makes a point of talking to everyone and asking if they want requests, every time he plays here he varies the songs he plays so we never know what is coming next. A really talented musician and a wonderful voice.

Well what can i say that hasn't already been said except to rubber stamp Nick has always impressed when playing here, has a great following here as well and has a super interaction with the audience, never on auto-pilot and it feels like he gives 100% every time he is here. Well done young man !

We have booked Nick three times, one was my 70th birthday last January, a well constructed and slick show and unlike a lot of acts, Nick has played different songs each time he has played here, a sure favourite with our crowd and looking forward to our next booking in August. Many thanks and keep on the great music.

We booked Nick for a dinner & dance evening, he played a lovely selection of songs in the first half including instrumentals, then when it came to the second half he truly comes to his forte, he tore through this stunning 50's & 60's set, played some songs even we hadn't heard for a few years, not one of the run of the mill. I had rung Nick a few times coming up to our dinner & dance to request a lot of things and he accommodated everything we asked for. We have already booked Nick for a summer show and two Xmas shows. A true gentleman.

I have known Nick for many many years, we use him a lot for various events we hold here, he does a lot of our Christmas events and summer events here, whether he is doing the regular set or his reggae set for the outdoor summer events, he never fails to impress, a very amiable man and always delivers what he says he will. No problem with the 10/10 rating, a pleasure.

We have been booking Nick for several years now, has never let us down and always puts on a first class show, he has quite a following here so never a spare seat. We had a private function where the lady in question was a Cliff Richard fanatic so we asked Nick to perform his Cliff and Shadows tribute show and everybody thoroughly loved it, i'm not a huge Cliff fan and even i was amazed at how great the show was. I would have no problem recommending Nick for anyone.

Absolutely first class performer, had the entire club up dancing all night, very rare in our club, we booked Nick purely on word of mouth and did not let us down or his well established reputation, silky guitar skills and fantastic vocals. We asked for some requests which he found time to include for us plus carried on after the time was up as we wouldn't let him go !!! On top of that Nick is a very pleasant and polite man. Highly recommended.
