I require accessible plug sockets, a small table for my desk, and enough room for one person, a backdrop and a 300 watt pa system.
Yes i provide all my own PA, lighting equipment.
I require an address location and postcode, accessibility to get equipment unloaded and set up, plus parking availability
Yrs I have a Bluetooth PA system and can provide interval music by request.
I performed with a band at a fundraising event playing to an audience of over 1000 people. We were the 3rd act on out of 5, it was an amazing experience.
My main influences are Paul Rogers of Free and Bad Company, Roger Daltrey of the Who, Ozzie Osborne of Black Sabbath, Frank sinatra, Jeff Healey, Elton John just to name a few.
I have to admit that I'm a huge fan of Eric Clapton, but it is hard to decide who my favourite artist is, I have so many favourites.
My favourite genres of music are motown, Rock, blues, soul and synthpop.
My favourite song of all time is a Marillion song called Kayleigh. I named my daughter Kayleigh after the song. I have never performed it live though. But who knows, I might do so in time..
I started gigging back in 1983 at the age of 14, myself and 3 friends from school founded a band named strange brew. We parted ways after a couple of years, I have played in trios duos and as a solo performer all covers bands. I am now 56 years old and still enjoy performing.
I love playing any event to be honest, but I do really enjoy playing festivals especially if the weather is good and the audience is up for a sing along and lots of dancing.
So I have been performing as Peter Gerard for apx a year. I fronted various bands over 15 years and I recently decided that I would like to go out as a solo performer. I used to be a solo performer for a few years before my daughter was born but didn't need to after I joined a band. My equipment was a bit outdated so I have recently invested a lot of money into developing my solo act.
I usually like to arrive at least an hour and a half before the show, this allows me time to get set up, sound check and meet the customer before the show. I usually perform 2 X 1 hour sets with a break in between.
Yes I am, but not if its tipping down with rain. I would like a stage, a level solid surface and a good power supply nearby..
Clients absolutely have a say, but please allow me plenty of time to get the songs if I don't have them, I also need to make sure I can sing them properly, but I can provide a list of songs they can choose from. But I do have over 1000 songs on my ipad..
Previous clients would describe my performance as a mixture of genres to suit allmost everyone. A variety of music that can get people dancing the night away..
