About / Biography

I enjoy creating a harmonious, calm and blissful musical atmosphere for people, so that they can feel grounded, connected and relaxed.

Rather than playing one piece of music after the next, I flow through the pieces organically, making it sound like one soundtrack for your special event. The improvisational element in my playing style adds a sense of freedom to it, and makes every performance an unique experience.

You'll be hearing works by some of the greatest modern classical composers, for example Yann Tiersen (music from the film Amélie), Michael Nyman (music from the film The Piano), Olafur Arnalds, Ludovico Einaudi, etc. I also write my own music, which is quite similar to the style of the composers just mentioned, so I'd be more than happy to include some of my own original compositions in the setlist, if you'd like me to, of course. :)

If you have any specific requests regarding the pieces you'd like to hear, feel free to mention them in your enquiry. I'm always happy to learn new pieces and make your event even more special!

I'm looking forward to hearing from you and add some piano magic and sparkle to your event!

Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

For my performance, I need an acoustic piano or if you'd like me to use an electric keyboard, then that's absolutely fine, too! I have Yamaha model P-45 keyboard , which requires external amplification. It is best paired with active PA speakers or a small PA system. I would also need 1 parking space.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Unfortunately, I don't provide sound and lighting equipment.

What information do you require about a venue?

I need to know any directions that will help me to find the venue. I'd also like to know if there's going to be a sound engineer or someone who'd help out with sound tech if the performance is amplified.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

I'm afraid I'm not a fan of Spotify playlists. Sorry! And I'm not a DJ either. ;)

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

I performed in France at the festival FIMU in Belfort last summer. The concert venue, which was a huge cathedral, took my breath away and the audience was so warm and welcoming. The whole atmosphere was magical and cinematic.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

I have been influenced by film music soundtracks the most. I fell in love with Yann Tiersen's music thanks to the film "Amélie". I was about 13 years old when I first learnt a piece from that film, and I still include it in my sets.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

My background is in classical music. I started composing my own music when I was 12 years old. I've performed since I started learning the piano in school as part of my studies, but I started to do solo acts when I released my debut album in 2018.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

I especially love to play in smaller, more intimate events. Especially when it's in an acoustic setting. Having said that, one of my best experiences was actually in a huge venue with more than 200 people.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I normally arrive 1 hour before the performance to set up and take in the atmosphere. Performance times can vary depending on the event. The most common options are a 45-minute set and 2 x 45 minute sets. But I'm happy to discuss it with you to see what works best for your event.

Are you happy to perform outside?

I'm happy to perform outside but then the performance requires a small PA system or speakers to amplify the piano.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I can learn specific songs before the event but I usually limit this to 3 pieces. The clients are welcome to make a selection of the pieces from my repertoire list.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

After my solo performance at the West End Centre, a member from the audience said that the set moved him close to tears with joy and its power.
