About / Biography

Hello! My name is Rina Graf. I’m a professional singer originally from Ukraine, currently living in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, UK.
I have over 10 years of stage experience, from musical theatre and concert venues to private and corporate events.

My voice is known for its warmth, emotional depth, and rich tone. I perform music in genres such as pop, soul, jazz, R&B, vintage classics, acoustic ballads, and musical theatre.
I truly enjoy creating atmosphere — whether it’s for a relaxed lounge setting or an expressive, dynamic show.

I sing live using high-quality backing tracks, carefully selecting the repertoire to match the mood and style of each event.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pop Vocal Performance from Luhansk National University named after Taras Shevchenko. I also run my own vocal school in both Kyiv and Peterborough.

I am currently available for performances throughout Cambridgeshire and nearby regions, and open to invitations across the UK.

If you are looking for a professional, soulful, and sincere vocalist who can bring elegance, feeling, and style to your event, I’d be delighted to be a part of it. 🤍

Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

I would need a performance space at least 4 or 5 meters x 3 meters near a power socket.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

I can provide my own PA system.

What information do you require about a venue?

Any parking directions nearest to venue would be really great to know for smooth arrival and equipment unloading.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

I'd be happy to put together a playlist of music that can be played in my breaks between sets.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever played at?

My guitarist and I recently performed at a care home, where elderly residents — even those with limited mobility — tried to dance, smiled warmly, and radiated joy. Moments like these remind us how deeply every person matters. Music isn’t just for stages — it’s for hearts. And we sing for everyone, because through music, we can share light and kindness with the world.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

I grew up listening to the powerful voices of Whitney Houston and Christina Aguilera — their vocal strength, emotion, and artistry had a huge influence on me as a singer. I also truly admire the Ukrainian artist Jerry Heil. I love how she blends depth, humour, and meaning in her music — she’s so unique and inspiring.

As for the greatest song of all time… that’s a tough one! But if I had to choose, it might be “I Will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston — it’s timeless, emotional, and vocally iconic.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I started out performing in musical theatre and vocal concerts in Ukraine — I worked as a soloist in professional theatres, took part in ensemble shows, and sang in both lead and backing roles. I’ve also written original music and worked as a vocal coach, helping others find their voice.

After moving to the UK, I began singing at local events and collaborating with musicians, including a guitarist I now regularly perform with. Our gigs include public festivals, restaurant shows, private events — anywhere we can bring music to people. It all started with a love for live performance and a desire to connect with audiences emotionally.

What's your favourite type of event to play at?

I love performing at intimate events where I can really connect with the audience — like small concerts, private parties, or community gatherings. There’s something special about seeing people react emotionally to music right in front of you. But I also enjoy lively outdoor festivals where the energy is high and everyone’s singing along. Each type of event has its magic — and I’m happy anywhere I can create a musical atmosphere and make people feel something real.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I aim to arrive at the venue at least 40 mins before my performance. My equipment doesn't take too long to set up and I run a quick soundcheck. I usually perform either 2x 45 minutes or 3 x 45 minutes. I take on a lot of challenging songs vocally so I avoid taking on any longer time frames than 3 hours.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes, wherever there is a power supply and a flat surface.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I have a set repertoire that covers a wide range of styles, but I’m always happy to tailor the set to suit the event. Clients are welcome to choose their favourites from my list, and if there’s a special song they’d like that’s not included, it can be arranged in advance for an additional fee.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Previous clients often describe my performances as emotional, powerful, and heartfelt. They say I bring warmth and energy to the stage, and that my voice creates a strong connection with the audience. Many have said the atmosphere becomes more alive and memorable when I sing — whether it’s a quiet dinner or a festive event.

Do you bring your own equipment?

Yes, I bring my own microphone, stand, and speaker. I only require access to a power socket and a flat surface to perform.
